I have a Pig Cig (808D-1 650mAh). Been using their Clearomizer XXL CE2's. I really like not having to fill cartomizers every hour or so. But, don't like the weepage, and how ugly they are. So, I want to kill two birds with one fairly inexpensive purchase.

http://www.vaporbeast.com/Mega_Smok_Tech_Ego_p/sk3.htm Getting last weeks deal of $35 for everything.

3 smok Tech 1.6 ohms eGo Mega 5ML Dual Coil Cartomizers
2 900 mAh batteries
1 Large Black eGo Case
1 Directions
1 Charger and adaptor

Your advice and input greatly appreciated. I vape smoke, so the eGo style PV works great in my front pocket.

Note: Just noticed I wrote Evo in the title. Meant Ego! : )

I'm an avid proponent for the eMDCCs! I don't think you'll regret that package.at all.

Be sure to give a followup report...

Personally I think dual coils suck at lower especially on a 3.3-3.4V eGo. Why so many people use them I will never understand. I think people just assume their better, but their really not. I have an Epower which is 3.7V and have used the Epower dual coils which are very similar to the EMDCCs, they just hold alittle more juice. Their okay, and dual coils are alittle better on a 3.7V PV, but their def not anything special. I think dual coils are only good in the 4-5V range and for lower voltage PVs, and personally I'd rather use a good single coil carto over a dual coil any day.
If you like a warm vApe, then you'd be better off with a single coil bc your not gona get it from a dual coil. A 1.5ohm dual coil is really 2 3.0ohm coils so it gives a cool vape and the 3.3-3.4V eGo don't give enough power to really run them that great anyway. I don't really think there are any positives to using them at lower voltages, but I guess other people do bc some seem to think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but personally I think the negatives of getting a vey cool, underpowered vape and also cutting your battery life in half far outweigh any potential positives of using dual coils on low voltage PVs. I guess that's just me though

I looked quick and didn't notice that it was Smoktechs eGo and not a genuine eGo. Yeah you are right that the Smoktech eGo is 3.7V. While its not a real eGo, if I ever wanted an eGo Id much rather get a Smoktech eGo than a genuine Joye eGo. At least the Smoktech one is 3.7V and not the 3.3-3.4V that the real eGos are. While I still don't think dual coils are that great on 3.7v, it will be better on that then if you got a genuine eGo.
Hope you like it and Goodluck with it!

It is listed as a Smok Tech and when I spoke with them on the phone, they said Smok Tech says it's a 3.7v - so it better be a Smok Tech! LOL

These Mega DCC use the outside Ego threads (for the cones) so they won't fit 510 without an adapter ( I think)

I just looked at the pic on the website, you're totally right! They do screw onto the cone threads....that's cool...sleek and trim....I'm even more stoked to get these! Thanks....

nope. they have the standard 510 threaded center. there are no threads on the cone cover itself. at least thats how the XXL cartos i have are.

You're right....I just did a zoom in on the pic...they have a recess sleeve that goes over the threads for the cone, but it would have to screw into the battery threads to work. Yeppers....

i wish it did thread onto the cone. i attempted to take on apart to make sure it was easy to clean thanks to a video i had watched. well, the one i tried to take apart the center actually pulled away from the Al part that contains everything and actually pulled the coils down. nothing i did would set it back correctly so i chalked that up to a learning experience. i should have known it was to good to be true. oh well, i have wasted more money on less. LOL. still have 4 or 5 good ones waiting to be filled.

Have you seen if you can boil the eMDCC's clean?

HUH? The EMDCC are recessed to go OVER the cone threads... so they will not work on standard 510 - without an adapter

EDIT to add: I read my above post again and I was not clear on what I was trying to say , they don't "use" the cone threads - they do however cover them with a recessed part that prevents use on a standard 510 Mod without an Ego to 510 adapter it uses the recess to replace the cone is my guess to get that same type look.

Jim Bob, if you want to try them just so you can have something that holds alot of juice, Id try one of the E-Power dual coils too. Their specifically designed for the E-Power, and cover the cone threads like the EMDCC's do. Their basically just E-Powers version of the EMDDC's, but they hold 6ml of juice which is about 1-1.5ml more than the EMDCC's. You would need to use the same adapter though like you would have to for the EMDCC's since they cover the threads the same way
