Yes, it's a eGo.Is this an ego style battery? If so, pull it back up and put an adapter on it. Permanently. So you don't have to keep pulling the pin up.
Small O-ring worked under the lip of the pin.
#60 o ring from home depot or lowes or whatever you have. Use an eyeglass screwdriver to gently pry the old one out and to gently put the new one in
Yes, it's a eGo.
If you are talking about a eGo thread cover, actually, I have tried that before but I think it's too late. I think the rubber "collar" that hold the center post in place has lost its stiffness now after repeated pulling on the post. So the small movement of unscrewing the tank/cart is enough to disturb the post and causes it to "sink" back down. So, although having the cover there will prevent the tank/carto from going in too deep, it doesn't work in this situation. Any other thought?
Got it. Don't have that on hand. Will get one on my next purchase (I wish we have B&M stores in my city!). And thank for the reminder of turning off the battery and to use non-conductive tool. No, not a thread cover or cone.
A thread adapter. I'd suggest a 510 to ego adapter, so you'd keep both thread options available.
Something like this: 510 Battery to eGo Atomizer AdapterLots of places carry them, Mad is just what came up on top of google.
While I've read of the #60 O ring for the Vamo, I hadn't heard about it regarding ego styles.
In any case, make sure you do the 5 click off before doing the O-ring trick, or make sure you use a non-conductive prying tool.
One odf my batteries has the center post pushed down a few times and now every time I switch tank/carto or screw in the USB charger, I have to pull it up. That is every time! It is becoming very annoying. Is there a way to fix it permanently?
It is a Twist. The cheapest I've seen is $23 + shipping.I'd just buy another Battery.
What does an eGo Battery Cost? 9 Bucks?

I have a couple. This is just 1 of them.Yeah... For $23 + Shipping its worth trying to fix.
But still, Buy another and use it. Fix your Old One and keep it as a Back-Up.

FYI, the trick I posted in #17 here, works for a few times but it doesn't last. So, a trip to the hardware store tomorrow for the o ring.
Anyway, there has to be a reason why they don't make the center pin spring-loaded. But what is the reason? I can't see why not. A spring-loaded center pin will solve this common problem. Anyone one know why?
