Hey all I've been having an exponentially different experience with the way I wick my coils, just wondering if anyone has any tips they've noticed over time?
I've found that I don't like a crap-load of cotton as it's not really doing much than soaking up juice rather than transporting it. I've had good experiences with:

-keeping the cotton "grain" aligned, I don't tear apart the cotton balls I use I "unravel" them instead, aiming to keep the fibers running the same direction

-Making cotton strings, it seems like they empty toward the coil so much better this way, almost like river channels, I can control the "rivers" and place them right under the drip-hole so that one "river" feeds the string going through my coil(s)

-leaving a good portion of the deck open, I'm sure this helps just when the strings are full and as I naturally lean it around it moves evenly to the wicks (especially using stainless, as the juice doesn't actually stick (like a water drop off wool)

-I try to get my strings through and under the coils, if I can I'll cover every part but the top depending on how many strings I think is right.

That's all I've noticed besides the obvious, lately I've been making nano-coils and just tucking a ball underneat with no extra cotton but the ball, any tips specifically on nano coils would be awesome. (I'm thinking about trying to tuck some through the nano-coils which is the diatmeter of 28 gauge kanthal :headbang:

*wick not mine but looks interesting \/*
