So right now I've got a Vision Spinner II 1600mAh clone with a crappy little Aspire evod tank-thingie(what is it, s cartomizer? A clearomizer? A tank? I don't know, I'm a n00b.) that I run at the max of 4.8V. I just got an Innokin Cool Fire I with the iClear 30B on it. The CF I is regulated to a constant 8.5W, and I'm not sure what the ohm rating of the iClear 30B is. I was wondering if I should spend the money on getting an Aspire Nautilus to throw on there. I've also been wondering what kind of batteries I should get. I haven't actually been able to use my CF I since I got it over a week ago, since the 18350 that I got as part of a "great deal"($50 for the tank and the tube, plus a battery and a bottle of juice) depleted rather quickly, and I've been waiting on pay day to get a new one, as well as a charger. I made a sort of smart move by purchasing an 18650 extension for it, since the majority of the reviews said the biggest problem with this unit was a short battery life. I've been looking at the Sony VTC4/5 18650 battery and a Nitecore 2-dock charger, since those both seem to solid products.

So, does anyone have any input on this? Any help coming to a decision would be greatly appreciated.

Any chance you can take all of that back and get a refund? I seriously doubt you'll be happy with it for long, if ever.

A mod that is stuck with a single wattage is never good IMO. Different ohm coils and different juices work best at different settings. What you got is basically a large version of the EGO without the ability to adjust the power to your needs. The tank you have is a plastic tank that can crack with some juices. Citrus and cinnamon are well known to crack plastic tanks. Your coil will be 2.1ohm which is what your mod is designed to use. Anything other than a 2.1ohm coil may not work well.

I would not recommend a Nautilus for this mod. Not enough power. (I run my Nautilus at 19 watts)

What I would recommend for someone like you is the iStick 30W and Aspire Nautilus or Nautilus Mini. It's going to cost a little more ($35-$40 for the Istick 30W Kit, $20-$30 for the tank, buy online for the best deals).

The iStick 30W kit has USB charging with included cable and wall adapter so you don't need a charger and the battery is built in so you don't need to buy spare batteries. It's power is adjustable so you can change the settings to work best with whatever tank, coil, and liquid you're using with it. The Nautilus/Nautilus Mini are glass tanks so you can put any flavor liquid you want in them without having to worry about them fogging up or cracking. You can buy a spare $10 replacement tank that is glass with a metal covering if you're worried about breaking a glass tank. http://www.worldofvape.com/aspire-nautilus-hollowed-out-steel-sleeve/

And if you decide to keep the CF1 then I would suggest buying Samsung 25R, LG HE, or purple Efest 35W batteries. The Sony VTC line has been discontinued for retail sales and there are a HUGE number of fakes out there now.

Unfortunately, the place I got the CF I from is my local B&M, and they have a no return, no exchange policy. I guess I'm stuck with it for a while. At least it was only $50, and not $200. Lesson learned: don't be so hasty because you like the look ofsomething. What about going mechanical? I'm not sure if I like the idea of a box mod. I want to be able to take big, long rips, and not be cutoff.

A no return policy is just a money, hungry embarrassment.

There is a "shopping" component to vaping hardware and juices. I ended up with about 40 bookmarks. People mention places on here, so reading daily helps. Or, just mention what you are looking for and the "shoppers" will help. That is the difference between ECF and a B&M.

Disapointed about the B&M.

Absolutely. Especially for an outdated, and apparently useless mod that has been sitting around forever. Can't believe they still wanted full price for it.

I have an atlantis tank as well as a smok vct. I have found that I enjoy the vct more. I would say look at these tanks as they cost a decent bit less than the atlantis, have great airflow and can run a .4 btdc. (But there are other coils as well). The only issue would be the highest ohm coil is 1.2 and from what I see that may be too low for the c f. BTW this tank will vape well at @30 watts which would be great on the i stick 30 as already mentioned. Good luck.
