Thanks for the reply.

I have gotten away from adjustable airflow drippers - it seems the only reason that I adjust them is to get them back to where they were set to begin with. The only adjustable I still use is my Strata.

Do the posts have a stop for the screws to clamp the wires against, or are they hollow all the way down?

PS

I used to live in Melbourne Beach, on Ocean Ave, right across form the park, towards the river from the library/police station :)

I'm the same. I don't fool around with the airflow on drippers much, once I have them set where I want them. I'm not a cloud chaser, so I'm not into needing humongous air holes. I'm fine with non afc drippers, as long as the air flow is adequate. The Tugboat has decent sized holes.
As for the question about the Tugboat having 'stops' at the bottom of the posts; interesting question. I'd never thought about it. I don't honestly know. I have both of mine set up right now, so I don't want to tear them down in order to look.
I know exactly where you mean in reference to Melbourne Beach, although I don't live beachside.

I have 3 Tuggers, really still my fave dripper to date, My V1 has slightly bigger air holes, the Cali edition sits almost exclusively on my CA edition Poldiac, and the second batch ver with the short DT, is not in use now so I will look when I get home at the posts and let you know,

I have one that i got basically when it came out, or at least came to shops here is San Diego, ive never had any issues with the screws cutting the wire unless i use super thin wire like 30 or 32G. I mostly use 22 or 24G wire for my setups and works amazing. huge well for juice can usually get like 15-20 hits out of it before refilling with a .2 ohm build. if you get one you will love it.
