I mixed TPA redhots with VG, and got an emulsion, or "milky mess" (not sure if it's really an emulsion).

I thought adding PGA or PG would fix it but no.

Then I put it in the microwave for a half minute...cleared right up, clear as a crystal...until it cooled, then it became more opaque than before. LOL

Any way to fix it, for more than ten minutes?

Guessing from my searching here that i should pre-mix difficult flavors with PGA if I'm planning on straight VG recipes and add drop-wise...?

I run into this cloudy effect occationally in my recipes now that i'm progressing more and more into VG territory. I have not noticed it affect the taste of the juice at all. And i dont think it is dangerous to vape it. Its most likely an ingredient in the flavor you (or i) are using, is not as compatible with VG so does not completely combine.

But like i said, my cloudy juice tastes just fine.

I encountered this problem with cinnamon and citrus flavorings. While they tasted fine, the cloudiness was a little off-putting.

You might try combining the flavoring and a little PGA in the mixing bottle, then letting it stand overnight before adding the rest of the ingredients. If you try it, let us know the results.

thanks, MaxUT, i will do that next time

adding 30% PG removed cloudiness

i'll use it, as i can't send it to the intended - my sister

turns out my sister's boyfriend, a rock musician (fog machines from his past haunt him), won't let her vape any PG at his place

but he smokes, and she didn't use to but does now..so she asked and he said he was ok with VG

i'm sure i can get it right and good to hear from others who do regularly

funny he could smell it on his clothes the next day
