Got my PG/VG/Nic(RTS) & PGA last week. Finally got my flavors this morning and had to mix up a quick batch. I was using the Excel calculator and I'm glad I checked the notes first - I had my flavoring set at 15% and noticed that with Capella's 7% is a good starting point. So I mixed up some Cinnamon Danish 50/40/5 PG/VG/PGA and let it mix sitting in a bowl of warm water. I know it's best to steep a while but I had to try it out. Dripped some and WOW! The juice is crystal clear and has a great flavor!

DIY is going to be the way to go for me I do believe. Going to try a Candy Cane recipe for my wife this evening.

Congratulations!!! I love hearing new DIYers posting that their first mixes were victories. Capella is the only way to go in the beginning. Even after almost 2 years I still use it 90% of the time because the flavors are so authentic and easy to work with.

Woohoo good job, happy to hear when it goes right. I am curious why you used 5% PGA

Actually, I used vodka instead of high proof stuff. I use CE2's and have had some wicking problems so I decided to try to thin out the juice a bit. I'm sure I'll try several variations over the next couple of weeks, including no alcohol, to see how they wick.
