I'm considering ordering a provari from provapes has any here in Canada tried and had no problems? I emailed them and asked and he said they've had no problems with customs. But I also hear health Canada been pretty strict lately. If anyone has ordered from them and been successful or non successful can ya let me know if would be greatly helpful thx to you Canadians in advance

There is no reason in the world that Customs would even give you a second glance...there is absolutely nothing illegal about buying a PV, nothing illegal about owning a PV, and nothing illegal about importing a PV from another country.
If you want to order it from the U.S., go for it..the biggest issue I have with buyng things in the U.S. aside from the fact that I prefer to buy from a Canadian company whenever possible on principle is that it takes three times longer to get it, since it often sits for weeks in the backlog of small packages waiting for clearance by Customs

100% absolutely correct... but this is what can happen:

Health Canada has instructed Customs to forward ALL electronic cigarette products to them for inspection (and approval).

If Customs identifies your items as electronic cigarette products - they will either view it according to the legal instructions for these (ie: it will pass quickly) - or they will hand it over (ie: 50/50 that some uptight dude with HC will just be having a bad day and send it back - or having a good day and send it forward).

Technically and legally it should not be held or rejected - but there have been some incidents.

If it is held - and you're notified that it will not be passing customs - you usually have a short period of time to contact the relevant customs office (in person is best) and ask them to reconsider.

Yup. I ordered mine direct from ProVape last August. There was a wait to get mine (they were backlogged) but I did ultimately get it, and it took about two weeks or so including wait time before it was at my doorstep, no issues with customs or anything. Didn't even owe duty, surprisingly.

I don't think you'll have any issues. Customs rarely ever stops hardware unless it's cartomizers (because they "might contain traces of nicotine" -- no joke. Well, it is a joke, but it's the joke Health Canada is telling Customs agents to sieze them.). Even then they certainly can't catch them all, or even a significant portion of them.
