OK, I was just checking to see the price compared to the Canadian vendors if you want green or blue LCD it is $235, extension is $29 shipping $10 +tax= $306.00 Sounds like you guys went the correct route.

I too went the black satin with blue LCD. Also got the extender cap, 2 batteries and a charger. With the express shipping it came to almost $300 CDN on the nose. Was going to be quite a bit more buying from Canada...go figure.

Mac, There's no tax when ordering from outside of Canada unless your parcel gets hit with duty from customs. Until recently, I never heard anyone having to pay duty on a "$60 flashlight" as Provape puts it but someone here in Toronto did get burned with a $25 fee for duty. It's very rare but it can happen. Ironically, it happened to me, recently with a prize that was shipped with Fed-ex & declared for $20US. I think it was just bad timing.

well my order is basically the same place as yours big poppa. but its not a provari....=p now i really wish i paid the extra money for a provari since everyone on here is just waiting on a provari while I'm waiting on a provape1....
Don't feel bad, the Provape-1 is a really nice unit. If you don't feel the need for VV, I think it's actually nicer. I have a provari, but I wish I had more money to get a provape for my carry-around use.

The other problem is some of the vendors aren't selling the batteries that Provape is telling us to use on the units (AW branded).

Ya the figure I reasoned with taxes is if I bought it from a Canadian vendor. Not that I am buying one, I was just curious the price difference.

I'm going in for a Mini.. on the site right now.

Black Satin Mini

I'll use this to travel back and forth to work.

Between the regular size one that I already have and the extended cap, they will give me all 3 size options 18350, 18500 and 18650.

Not bothering with the Blue LED upgrade etc for this one. It's going to be a work horse. ;)

Just got my Provari in the mail an hour ago. It took the same twisted route to get to Toronto but Ordered it on Sunday Night & got it this morning - 4 days - not bad imo.

I also order some juice from a Seattle company & it always goes through LA as well.
