Anybody else not like MBV's Butterscotch?

Taste is subjective. Many like their juices. Some don't. Doesn't mean all their juices are bad and everyone will hate it as well.

Let's keep the bashing out of this, shall we?

I don't like it either which is a shame because I love butterscotch candies. But I don't think it's mount baker's fault. I've tried two other juices from other vendors that had that same taste to me - one a 'butter rum', the other a bakery item advertised as very 'buttery'.

As it turns out, I have some TFA 'butter' flavoring which I hadn't opened yet. Yup, same funky smell. Evidently I'm sensitive to something in 'butter' flavoring. I'm sure I've tried other things that had 'butter' flavoring in it, I think I only have a problem at higher concentrations. Bummer.

Ok, by now I've tried at least a dozen more flavors with 'butter' flavoring (butter pecan, icky sticky butter cake, etc.). Haven't liked any of them. And, no, none of these have been from MBV so it's not just them.

But caramel flavors are fine.

Butterscotch is my favorite candy. There were over 230 reviews on MBV website and I looked at every one. There were less than 10 negative so I purchased a 15ml bottle. On delivery it was really bad. It has been steeping for 2 weeks and I tried it again today and I am disappointed. It's a lot better than it was but nothing to reflect over 200 5 star reviews. I'm going to give it another week and if no better it goes to the "do not vape" box.

ut1205, my box like that is labeled "NASTY!" lol That being said I ordered Butterscotch and Carmel Candy in the same order, and didn't much like either but preferred the Carmel over the Butterscotch...slightly. I am letting them steep and they are not in the NASTY! box. I have found a number of other flavors from them palatable and Strawberry Shortcake has become an ADV. Unfortunately out of stock right now :-(

Oh, and I do like their Butter Cream so it's not the "butter" part. I have come to believe that some people and SOME flavors just don't work together. And then some people and other flavors, it's a winner. So I live with that. Have had many more MBV flavors that I liked than any other online vendor so far.

I love MBV. Many of there juices are very good like Candy Cane, Hawk Sauce, Cinnamon Roll and Bananas Gone Nuts. But...Butterscotch is disgusting. I have had mine for a few months to steep and it still tastes terrible. I figured out that although it smells good it tastes terrible. Just like OP said very chemical and baking soda flavor in there (salty). That being said I've tried butterscotch from several vendors and they all taste bad to me. Just my

hmmm.......i am vaping MBV butterscotch at this very moment as i have for many moments, and it tastes just fine. maybe i just don't have as sophisticated of palate as some. that suits me fine.

I just went back to MBV after a long hiatus. Their butterscotch was the first of the new (to me) flavors I tried after a one week steep. I love it. It's my current ADV. Already ordered more.
