I don't understand how cloud chasing is worth compromising one's health or comfort...
You don't vape custards, do you?

Actually yes, everything is just fine, even my asthma has got better. :D

I left that out not wanting to start a whole thread about it.

Oh man @smacuser 18mg nicotine? 2mg for me.

    okay, 4 for you. ;)

really, clouds are not your friend. You'll inhale so much for so much longer than a mouth-to-lung hitter. Save the clouds for when you want to party. :toast::vapor:

Ha. I wonder if that'll keep me satisfied. As long as keep it relative and use half then my 20 yrs worth of nic will still last me 20 yrs. Grim times when your chest gets worse and you have to increase your nicotine.boo

Then it might be time to try WTA -- though honestly, my asthma had improved until shortly after I started vaping WTA. Coincidence? Maybe, but the timing seems suspicious. I'm hoping that as I eliminate the WTA, it will also eliminate some of my asthma problems. Since you don't have actual asthma, WTA might not cause you any problems.

Okay. Thanks. Never even heard of it till now. If I do use WTA (whole tobacco alkaloids??) is it safe, diketone and such free if you have it tobacco flavoured? To be honest though, one of my favourite things about vaping was to start 'smoking' Coca-Cola all day. Better to be safe than sorry though.

Yes, it's still safer than smoking cigarettes, though there is some question about nitrosamines (TSNA I think is the usual abbreviation); which would mean that it may be slightly more hazardous than plain nicotine, but as I said, still a GREAT deal safer than getting the full alkaloid cocktail by smoking tobacco.

I use this type of WTA: http://wholecig.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=93&product_id=104 -- it's much cheaper than Aroma's, but perfectly clear, very pure, and with only a trace of aroma, which is somewhere between tobacco and hazelnuts. Wholecig has unflavored, Kiss of Sweet, and Tobacco flavored, but all of theirs are ALL WTA, not "WTA infused" but with extra nicotine added to raise the mg level, as with the flavored ones at Aroma. I get the 24mg, so I don't have to add much to my ejuice, so it doesn't affect the taste.

When I started using it in the summer of 2014, I used it as 10% of my ejuice; now down to 1.8%, so I'll be done with it soon.

We all have different lung capacity and lung function so anecdotal stories either way are not enough to base anything on, but cloud chasing full time may not be the wisest thing to do. I'm sure some research will be conducted soon that will provide a more conclusive answer until then we make the best choice for ourselves.

Cheers rizzyking.obviously your right but I need to attach my optimism to something.the positive anecdotal story is so biased in my favour that it'll do nicely. Needless to say that perhaps the positive affirmation I'll take on board will help me. Gotta see it to believe it.;)

That was exactly how I felt about vaping as a smoking cessation tool -- tried the patch, utterly useless, tried cold turkey, totally miserable for every freaking minute of the 3 months I lasted -- it completely floored me to find myself smoking fewer and fewer cigarettes every day for a month, after I started vaping, until they were completely gone. That's really the point of vaping, not making weather -- is it really necessary to create your own fog bank, just to stay off cigarettes? Cigarettes don't make much "cloud" at all -- if you see someone smoking in the distance next to someone vaping, it's very easy to tell which is which -- there isn't that much smoke.

I just really don't see the point of making all that fog, especially when you've already found that it disagrees with your health rather violently. Do you want to stay off cigarettes... or vape yourself into the hospital? Hospitals really aren't fun at all.

Try different flavors and exercise more (?)

    - I can't vape most fruit flavors: makes me choke and I feel like I have asthma for hours afterwards. Unfortunately, my favorite juice of all time is black cherry, so I let it air out a day before using it and use different juices half of the day, so I'm fine.

    - When I start the summer biking season I cough up phlegm that looks like VG. It usually lasts for about 5 minutes during the first 2 rides and then I feel like I have brand new lungs so long as I don't stop biking for a whole week. Then I have to cough another one up...

one really obvious thing that nobody really mentions are rest times. i know a lot of people who vape almost constantly. if 10 waking minutes goes by without them taking a toot i would be surprised. even my 2 pack a day smoking uncle inhales less than that. if you are awake for 16 hours a day and smoke 20 cigs a day you are looking at one every 48 minutes. even though with cigarettes you are taking more drags in a short period of time your lungs at least have time to rest in between. that isnt necessarily the case with vaping. maybe get into a routine of taking 4-5 puffs and then waiting 30-45 mins before vaping again. i believe that chain vaping would be made easier with mixing your own juice. it is a lot cheaper and you can make flavors exactly how you want. however, dont get carried away. moreover, as others have said, there were many additives to analogues which are intended to minimize short term side effects to promote more smoking.

    just my $0.02

Aw man @ImThatGuy Not sure what to make of that post but im in the gym 6 days a week lifting for 1.5 hrs each time. I get on the treadmill 4 times but nearly pass out cos I just cant do it. I eat very well. 2200 calories everyday and 8 pnts of water. Bloody clouds.tsk

    It's just you.
I'm almost 50. Smoked 2 PAD for over 25 years. Semi retired, thanks to vaping. If I was smoking I would still be retired.
    I vape about 15-20ml a day, 70/30, 3 mg nic.
    Almost exclusively mechs and RDAs.

I'm not a gym rat (only about 4 days a week), I can run 2 miles right now with no problem, and work a very physical job.

It ain't the clouds, it's the body.
Consult your doctor on your next visit and you may get some better insight.

Oh no. Cheers @Bad Ninja Lol it sounds like i'm big. No been going for only about a year so far but i'm not working so I got a lot of time. I'm recovering from a severe tbi where I couldn't walk or talk 19 months ago. I smoked for a while after the incident and felt fine. Soon as I started dripping 20-30 I got bad. Maybe it's just a coincidence. My poor brain can't hack it. Still hope I can revert to breathing fine with effort.:)

BTW. Been to the Dr and they said my blood is fine and my lungs are cool. Slightly deficient in iron, but not enough for this much shortness of breath and fatigue. Got a supplement anyway but I think mtl hits will fix this.

OK, You are going to think this is crazy.. BUT, it has been working for me and my lungs are
    in REALLLY bad shape.
It is called Mullein Leaves... I drink it in a Tea, you can buy Mullein Tea Bags.

I smoke 2 packs a day and have for over 25 years. Shortness of breath is an understatement
    when describing me.
When my lungs are hurting and I can't breath, I drink this tea and a few days later
I feel a bit better, and my lungs seem to clear up.

To be honest, I never believe in Natural Remedies.. I think that many are total bs.
and truth be told.... I thought the Mullein would be a waste of money, I was
    totally wrong. :)
