I've had my dura-c for about a month now and absolutely love it. Love the throat hit, love the vapor production, and I've got almost a month on the atomizer and it's still performing like a champ. For me, it's the best pv out there.

But I've been hearing all these raves about the vapor king and how amazing it is. I was just wondering if anyone has both the dura-c and the vk, and which one you prefer? My thinking is the vk has gotta be pretty damned awesome to top the dura-c.

I have them both and while I am totally with you on Dura/510 (the best one I had so far), I don't understand why everybody is raving about VK model a.k.a KR808d-1. I have both VK and his older brother, generic 808d-1, and i don't see anything special about both of them.

First of all, the amount of vapor is quite average. Of course if you use fish face drag you get more vapor out, but so with any of e-cig. Second, draw for me is harder than from Dura/510 and is accompanied with unpleasant hissing sound. Overall, I'm not getting the same amount of satisfaction from VK than from Dura. In fact, not even close. Two pack-a-day smokers that I lent VK to try were not impressed either.

But that's totally from my humble experience.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to figure out. I've seen some video reviews of the VK and the amount of vapor looks kinda wimpy compared to the Dura-c.

Funny this thread came up. I am thinking about getting a Dura C after seeing someone else from my social group puff out hugh amounts of vapor from it.

I have the vapor king and comapred to my others (RN4081, DSE 901, Eaze Magnum and Kissbox which I have sold recently), it gives me great throat hit and flavor and pretty good vapor but it was not as thick as the Dura C's vapor.

The vapor King and it's 2 piece design for many people like myself is a plus when dripping and/or refilling starts to become a burden. For me, it has become a burden and something I really do not want to be dealing with when I'm out on the road. Carrying bottles of liquid or 10 carts with you in small bags to last the day starts to beome a pain in the .....

Vapor King's batteries last a long time. I've run mine anywhere from 5-7 hours. And the carts, about 3-4 hours and I do vape at times very heavy. This sure as hell beats carrying around all that baggage when I can simply just carry 2 batteries and and a few carts in my pocket. Don't have to worry about recharging batteries, dripping every 10 minutes, dripping while driving or refilling while out on the town.

So for many of the vapor king fans, it's not all about "the vapor" or which e-cig has the most vapor, but how convenient that particular model is without the battery and taste issues prior similar models had.

When I am at home thats a whole different story. Using my other models, I still drip. Once expendable income becomes available, I just may purchase a Dura C but more than likely, it will join my other "at home" e-cigs.

This e-cig the Vapor King gives something that lots of vapor does not.
You may not believe me on this. I have the screwdriver, the MOD's magnum's and many others e-cigs. Now for vapor production, the magnum's can't be beat. I owe the GG,secondson2929 magnum. I love the devices. For on the open road, the vapor king wins hands down. It is just so easy. There is no near the vapor from Vapor King as from the homemade magnum's. I love the Vapor King for the analog feeling from the draw.
The magnum's gives more smoke than any analog. Never seen a cigarette give the smoke that the magnum's give.

I still love the Vapor King and so glad to have it. I use it daily.
I do not owe a Dura C. I order one and cancel the order. I ordered the homemade Magum's instead. I do not think it can beat the magnum's or GG. Maybe it can. I like the convenient of the Vapor King. The magnum's needs alot of juice and when you are driving down the road, this is not good.
This is my take on the Vapor King.

RJ sent you a PM
also I am very curious
I have all of the above, except I do not own the GG. would love to hear much more
I too have the 510 manual and the VK and now the VP (Vaporello)
and I actually like them, it is an easy unit as a backup and part of my daily routine. I use many a mod and I love them for many different reasons

I do find the VK,for me has the hit I need and the 510 cannot be beat for what it is, I still like the big units, it just feels better to me in hand

We all have to agree, how amazing it is that we all have such different experiences with the exact same products. One loves the other doesn't

Well i just ordered a JOYE 510 this morning (is it different from a Dura C?? it has manual batteries too) but I looked into a Vapor King.
The whole pain in the .... to crack open (without breaking) and refilling carts on the king gave me a big pause. Id also like more input on how long a atomizer/cart CAN last with it cause I think its a cool model.

Well for starters, the whole idea behind the vapor king and it's disposable carts is for users not to worry about atomizers anymore AND not to bother refilling it.

However, due to money constraints and the price for a box of 5 carts ($12.50), many people are going down the "Refilling" path.

As mentioned, the carts can last you on average about 3-4 hours each. I am a heavy vaporer and this is my average time. Sometimes It'll even go up to 5 hours.

On average, I go through about 3 carts per day when on the road.

Refilling is all not that hard. Go here for more info:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/13035-how-do-you-refill-vapor-king.html

However, I have found that refilling the carts is not as good as new carts. Other opinions differ.
