Why are there two eGos -- one is Janty eGo, the other is Joye eGo? Is one a copycat?

I was looking at the JantyWorld website today, and I noticed also a PV called the Dura. I've never heard of the Dura either -- is it supposed to be something like the Joye510?

The reason I'm wondering is because they have some really awesome warranties. I've never, ever heard of an eGo/Dura atomizer, but it has a 6-month warranty. I thought atomizers never had warranties. Furthermore, I've never heard much mention of Janty products here on ECF. Are they a new company? Anybody hear of them? Please and thank you.

I wanna say that I remember reading somewhere that the eGo was first made for Janty, but i could be wrong about that (Correct me if I am)

I have have a eGo from Janty and Cignot, and both are about the same (except the logo on the end). I first went with Janty due to the warranty, and got a Cignot out of curiosity for my GF. No problems with either.

No issues from either supplier. Cignot is a little closer to me, so I get my orders from them sooner than Janty. Doesn't stop me from ordering from Janty tho, just put another order in about 3 hours ago :p. Really the only place I like to get my LR attys from.

Some items on Janty are out-of-stock alot (US Store at least), but seems like they are getting better at keeping their inventory stocked up lately.

the 6 month warranty is for the regular atty. I think the only warranty for the LR is DOA (Dead on arrival). you have 24 hours or so to test the atty once delivered to report it if its dead

Just checked their site

For LR atty:
"These LR atomizers have a shorter life expectancy than regular atomizers and therefore only carry a 24-hour warranty. Please check all LR atomizers upon receipt to ensure that they are in working order."

For Reg atty:
"The Janty Dura/eGo atomizer comes with Janty's 6 month warranty"

My understanding, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, is that Janty is the British company that has a controlling interest in Shenzen Joye Technologies. Janty is more of the designer/marketer while Joye Technologies is the actual factory where the units are produced. However, Joye Technologies also sells this same equipment to resellers.

It's like buying factory direct, same product. If you go through Janty though, you pay a little more and get the longer warranty.
