Anybody having trouble with Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartos?????

Used to use these Ego Mega dual coil by smok tek exclusively and LOVED them. Then I got like 12 that would not thread onto my batt and put them away for awhile-went to stardust which I love when they work optimally but I was having trouble with them working well consistently especially after cleaning so I decided to go back to the MDCC's they always had such great flavor and vapor.

Just got them out today and getting terrible burnt taste out of the box on first 2 and almost no vapor.

I know I filled them correctly-Anyone know what could cause this?
The only difference is I'm using KGO 1100 mah batt instead of ego.

I have wasted 10 ml of my favorite juice and if the all these cartos are bad I'll be out about 30 bucks for those
I'm not wanting to try a third since if it;s the same I'll just be out another 5ml of juice
I'm getting really frustrated with bad cartos and things not working consistently and no returns or refunds. I guess it's back to the drawing board to find something that will work for me. Why can't they just come up with something that works well consistently??
Sorry for ranting I'm just jonesing for a good hit
Any suggestions-I'm about ready to go bum a smoke from my neighbor after being off analogs for almost 2 yrs.

I know I have gotten a few (like 5 out of 50) which have an extremely harsh hit when brand new that never clears up. I just trashed them and went on to a new one.
I hate wasting juice too, but if it was me, I'd try a 3rd with a juice that wasn't my favorite.

I've also had some spotty quality in my last batch and was searching to see if I could find something better for me. Alas, after looking around, I've come to the conclusion that the EMDCCs are going to be my go-to for the meantime, unless and until something better comes out.

My gut reaction is that these are made for Ego batts. The K-go is most likely your problem. I've never used them on anything but Ego batteries and I won't buy anything but Ego batteries either.

I use emdcc or Smoktech mega xxls almost exclusively, and I love them. I have never had a problem with burnt or harsh hits. After I fill mine with a syringe I lay them on their side for about 30 min, then flip them over to the other side. This helps make sure they are fully saturated. Then I drip a lil more on the top and vape. I also use these on my vv woodie with no problem. I really think maybe u didn't get enugh juice in it or didn't let it soak in all the way. Also u can use a syringe to get juice back out of these so not so much is wasted. hope this helps
