Anybody know where to repair ITaste VTR?

Bought the itaste VTR a couple of weeks back. Last night it dropped and landed on the protective ring. It bent the ring and crushed my Iclear XI. The device took a couple of scratches and a big dent to the display screen. The company only warranties manufacture defects and that user error is not covered. I wrote them and said "I got it and yes I dropped it but just want to get it repaired rather than buy a new one". To date I have not received another reply. Any ideas on repairing this to like new condition?

If you bought it from a reputable dealer and you have the original booklet that came with it that has the scratch off verification number you can just go to innokin.com and send them a message... They will email you back and explain how to mail them your defective product.

Good luck.

Huh? I don't think there was a defect, unless it was the ops butterfingers. I DO NOT recommend cutting them off and sending them anywhere. ;)

What are you talking about?

I have 2 VTRs. One of them had an issue with the connector. I contacted Innokin. They said gave me an address to send my connector to with my booklet... I got the part in the mail with my booklet. So what do you mean? Innokin is the maker of these!

Of course mine had a defect...

I was referring to the op. he dropped his, therefore not a defect. Hence the butterfingers comment. I know nothing of your vtr.

Bent ring - use a dremel cutoff wheel to cut the ring off (you can also grind the inner part of the ring base down to the unit to fit 22mm tanks alongside nicely). Assuming the display still works - problem solved.
If the display no longer works - go to your local vape shop. No one wants to admit it, but it is possible to fry these bad boys. I've fried a couple already. It's entirely possible they might be sitting on a couple returns and be willing to sell a display rather than trying to arrange return warranty shipping with their supplier. I know both of the ones I've fried the ohmmeter/display was still intact - worth a try
