I hope you're not afraid of the pass through because of the other thread. I definately got a bad one that was replaced within 24 hours. It's just a good idea not to leave them plugged in, ya know? Same with anything really, even a cell phone. It's very unlikely anything would happen, but it's just being safe. Having said that, I'm sure they'd swap it with another battery.

i know theres not a huge hige variety of things to choose from but is there a way you can make your own starter kit? The customer would get to select from a variety of options and add to package. the price would be the same as the other starter kits just with soem slight modifications say an extra charger insteaD OF THE pt OR SOME EXTRA CARTS INSTEAD OF A PCC OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT? I hope this idea makes sense...

I didn't think I would use the PT, and at first I didn't, but once I tried it, I love it. I wouldn't rule it out. If you spend much time at the computer, I really do recommend it. The power is much better than the batteries. That said, I do like the idea of a custom starter kit.

I like mine too, and you can use it in the car with an adaptor. It's like an always new battery, great hits.

Saves battery life also.

You need to check that the wall plug is strong enough for the new passthroughs! I think that may be the problem. Ask Addy what the MaH thingy is for the new passthrus. I like using mine in the car. I can drop it and not have a wreak looking for it under the seat! LOL Plus I don't use up my batteries driving. (my driving is usually between Tampa and St. Cloud..about 100 miles).
At the computer I do use a wall plug, it's just easier then plugging into the computer for me and less stress on the computer. I have my loose batts for walking around.

Do ask customer service about subbing though.

Here is what I bought Amazon.com: AC to Dual Port USB Wall Charger: Electronics You can read the product specs if you scroll down. It works great.

The input is AC 100-240V and the output is DC 5V, with a max of 1000mA.

Hmm. I would not recommend that USB wall charger for use with a PT. Our PT's require 2 Amps to function properly. I am surprised it worked for you. They must rate it low....but I would not rely on the tolerances to consistently be that generous.

Bottom line....find one rated at 2 Amps to be safe.

I was going to say that too. 2 amp to be safe at 1 amp your pushing it. My ac to usb adapter is 2 amp.
