Anybody sanded the chrome on a Protank?

I'd like to buff down the shininess of the chrome so it doesn't look too pretty/fancy/shiny on an apv made with machined stainless. I just don't know if sandpaper is the wise way to go (?)
Has anybody else dulled down a Protank?

i have seen a member her either remove the chrome chemically or sanded it down. either way it was brass color.

Jwraps should come out with protank wraps.

I would use 2000 grit and then just lightly sand, the chrome is not very thick. I had to re-glue a "leaker" from the outside and then sanded down the extra glue after curing, it did get down to the brass on the edge where there was more abrasion.

they do but i only covers the glass portion.
