I was just in Vegas but unfortunately not the one you're talking about. The one I went to is just down the road from me and the strip is only a 1/4 mile long, half the stores are closed, the other half you have to check your firearms at the door, and the only vaper I saw was a reflection of myself in a window. Sorry, but I hope you have a blast. If you had gone last weekend you would have had access to the best vaping supplies on earth, it was Vapefest last weekend. Danggnabbit and i went to the wrong Vegas too at least I had the best double cheesburger in the state and vaped out at the hot springs for a bit.

I love Vegas, but I haven't been there since I've been vaping, the best bet is to tweet at GrimmGreen, he's in Vegas and he'll let you know where you could pick up some local juice.

I'm headed to vegas too, I'll be there on Oct 10th. I'm not to worried about bringing my juice with me. I'll have it double bagged, and in my luggage. Not going to bring on my carry on though. Maybe a batt, tank atty, and some filled tanks. What's the worste thing that could happen, they seize my 20.00 batt, 15.00 tank atty, and 5 ml's of juice... It would suck none the less, but really if not, I have it handy when I get off the plane. :)

I wish I could have been there for vape fest, guess I could have moved up my wedding... LOL

Been to Vegas 5 times. When in the old town, stay near ppl and away from the side streets and the intersection of the strip and freemont(crackhead haven). Use the bus that stops on the lower part of the freemont area. It used to stop at the freemont strip corner, it changed to a better stop(closer to the Freemont area. Do not wander away from the main strip operations at night. It is much safer. Great place like alot of other places, just be safe and don't get sucked into one of those guys passing out cards in the street.

Thanks for the tips Cockeybill.

I've heard about Freemont, and where to avoid... kinda scary. My buddy when down last year, said the group of guys decided to stay an extra night... they thought at the same hotel, but when they tried to book, no rooms left. No biggie right, went over to freemont, it was getting late so the stayed in a hotel there... none of them wanted to sleep under the covers, and the hotel across the street rented rooms by the hour... YIKES!!!

Don't let anyone scare you away from Freemont St, Anaconda! I go to Vegas a couple of times a year, and the highlight of my stay is the trip to Freemont St. Freemont Street is blocked off to traffic, so is essentially a pedestrian corridor, veiled in a mesh screen 'roof' that is particially see through. There is a laser light show projected onto the 'roof' every hour (or more, can't remember). There are vendor kiosks in the middle of the narrow street, and ground-level entrances to casinos right off the street. You don't have to walk a mile to get into the casinos like you do on the strip.

The lights are bright and everyone's always having fun! I don't think i'd ever stay on Freemont, except for at the Golden Nugget which has been completely renovated and has always maintained fairly high standards.

Lots of cheap roulette tables, cheap drinks at the bars, excellent drink service while gambling, and 99 cent deep-fried twinkies and shrimp cocktails. lol. There's tonnes of security on the street, so I really wouldn't worry. Of all the times I've been there I've never felt uneasy or threatened.

Freemont is kind of like 'old trashy Vegas', which I think is fun. No pretention on Freemont Street! Certainly the hotels and casinos aren't going to compare in any way to those on the strip, but it's a helluva lotta fun!!

It's also the place to buy all of your trashy souveniers (sp?). lol.

Just like any other vacation spot, stick to the 'touristy spots' and you'll be fine. The area around Freemont Street is a little sketchy, but Freemont St. is totally fine.

Have a great time out there!!

Oh I'm going to Freemont St for SURE!!! I couldn't go to vegas with out hitting at least something trashy! I find anytime I go on vacation, I like to see the best of the best, and a little of the inbetween stuff too. I will however stay on Freemont, and avoid the skirting areas, it is my honeymoon, I'd hate to see anything bad happen to the Mrs. :) Unless I'm the one tying her up... LOL

AS I said don't wander off the strip or the main part of Freemont(espescially at night). They are all fantastic as long as you stay where the crowds are. I know of a great shopping mall in Henderson (Wife and I always stop there). It is a long bus ride(30 mins) but it is a great mall and a local casino(great food) across the street. Check google for malls in Henderson.
