I know what you mean. It took me quite a while to build up the the GGTS, a lot of PVs that I liked but in the end weren't quite good enough. Now that I'm here, though, I'm happy. I've had my GGTS longer than I've had any other PV, and don't see myself getting rid of it. Ever. It walked down the aisle with me when I got married. Eventually my wife's going to realize that I look at it the same way I look at her, that look that says, "I can't believe I'm so lucky to have you in my life."

Lovely story, but please, DO NOT tell us what part, if any, the GGTS played on your honeymoon!

Some things, even the most die-hard fan just don't wanna know....

I know you don't pay attention to the other forum, Imeo, but my friend here has beat all the wagers against him!!!:)
Not all of them. I think there were a couple that gave me 6 months with it.
The other forum will never change ripple  Chaos, keep up the good work, you are a gladiator buddy!!:thumb:
We who are about to die salute you, Imeo!

Imeo, quick question for you. I'm wanting to get a ggts but with the ggvv talk iv been waiting to see how this plays out. Are you thinking a ggts add on for vv or a vv device? Either way I want to get a gg very soon.

The VV or VW unit Imeo is designing is going to be an add on to the GGTS. I would suggest picking up a SS GGTS now and buying the add on later once it is released. In the mean time it is still the most amazing all mechanical mor I have ever used. I really do not think you would be disappointed with it as it is right now.

The ol lady wants to get me one as iv got two new Ufs tanks sitting on a shelf. Iv also got 3 provaris one for each of us and a back up. Iv been spoiled by the no battery loss but love the gg line fully and plan to get two of the oddys to go along with the ggvv set up. She plans to get me a ggts and any extras up to a grand for Xmas but if the vv will be a new pv I'd rather wait for Imeos vv add on as has works what makes me want a gg. I'm just tying to find out alittle more about it before she starts her Xmas shopping for me. Hope yall don't try made I posted in this thread as its not about the vv but with the talk of it I figured I'd ask the master mind himself..

Okay, the guys with the white coats and clipboards have been frantically trying to get my attention.

The Kick I have is a prototype, and is NOT the final version. Evolv is waiting for the feedback from its testers individually and collectively before it releases a final version, hopefully in a few weeks. This is a pretty intensive trial process with a whole lot of folks, and they're taking it pretty seriously. Accordingly, I should not be posting my specific feedback online in order that it doesn't influence or contaminate the results of other testers. However, I am free to post my results and observations online once the testing process is over. The final product may be almost identical to the one I have, or it may be completely redesigned depending on the results and feedback from the testers. Hell, the final version may go up to 15 watts!* Wait, am I testing this, or am I being tested? Am I a testee?

I'm impressed by the amount of time, money and effort they're putting into this; it seems they're putting this into quite a few hands to see both how the doo-hickey itself works and how it performs on individual mods. Unlike the first couple of versions of the Darwin, it looks like they're completely committed to getting their product down pat before it ships to consumers.

Hope this process doesn't take too long, you know how hard it is for me to keep my mouth shut about cool toys. But I'll be lurking.

*Or not, I really don't know. I'm just screwing with dspin.

All I can say is, he will lose a boatload of money keeping it at 10 watts. The finicky and discriminating vaper will not buy it, or maybe only buy one.

This interests me - when you say you're vaping at 12 - 15 watts, I'm intrigued as to what kit you're using to get to this, and how you've worked it out, only because at a true 3.7 volts you'd need an atomiser of under 1 ohm, and at 6 volts, you'd be using LR atties. That plus it would be blisteringly hot.

It's my experience that folks usually overestimate the wattage at which they vape - usually because they don't realise that the batteries they're using won't actually provide that amount of power, and they don't do under-load measurements. I'm not saying that's the case here, but it does intrigue me.

Using a Bulli A-2(drip only), Iatty and 2 Lines. Ohms between 2.2 - 3.0 with 2.6 my favorite @ 6V. using fresh batts. Even with v drop under load - say to 5.5 - 5.6 I still need more than 10 watts

Should add using 3 - GGTS or P-18. I just don't care for my LR 1.5 attys (Cisco) anymore at 3.7 IMR AW's or IMR MNKE 18650's

No - not real, just photoshop. And even if this were real, this isn't be the bottom - the bottom is down by my thumb. In my imaginary device, the cap screws on over this - and makes contact with the little connection post I photoshopped in the middle of the dial... as if it were built into the spacer ring. Hahaha, yeah, stupid I know - I just have fun with pixels

I regularly vape 12-15.9 watts on my GGTS. I use 1.7 ohm DC cartos using 2 aw lifepo4 3.2v batterys. Under load voltage came out to 5.2-5.3 on a fresh charge and fell to about 4.5 on an almost dead set. According to my calculator 5.2v w/ 1.7 ohm = 15.99. I find my sweet spot to be 4.6v-5v which is 12.44w-14.7w. That being said I am really hoping for 13watts limit or 12.7. My VV deviice is set to 4.8 loaded voltage with thesame 1.7 ohm dc cartos.

Either way I will probably pick up a Kick to play with but I know a lot of us are hoping they boost up the wattage by a couple at least.
