It's hard to believe their research. They're also claiming that vaping is possibly worse for you than smoking.

I'm inclined to agree. The ALA's releases all seem kinda biased. I'm not saying all their research and releases are bogus, just that I personally eat it with a grain of salt.

Exactly. If your lungs happen to regenerate in 15 minutes (which I'm sure they don't), then how can one get paid for 15 years of treatment?

DEATH: Our Nation's #1 Killer.

I haven't had any deaths from lung cancer in my immediate blood-kin family, but my grandfather (my mother's adopted father) died of lung cancer. Wasn't enough to scare me (or my mother, for that matter) away from cigarettes. My ex boyfriend's father died of lung cancer. My auntie-in-law's husband recent died of lung cancer (or complications from chemo for it, technically).

I'm only 28, hopefully I've managed to quit in time to save my own life.

I'm 72 and smoked 50+ years and had COPD when I started vaping three years ago. My lungs and my breathing are 100% better but I was dianosed with throat cancer in December and no one in my family had ever had cancer of any kind. The doctors said it was most likely caused from all the years of smoking. The doctors were very happy with me vaping and I vaped all the time I was in the hospital and no one ever said a negative thing about me vaping. I had my ZMax and a couple of other PV's on my tray all the time even in ICU after my surgery.:D I'm going through Chemo and radiation treatment now at the VA Hospital. There are a lot of old vets here with cancer of all kinds and most of them are still smoking but several are real interested in trying vaping. I've been handing out cards everyday and hopefully some will show up on ecf one of these days.

Good of you to be thinking of others while you are going through chemo and such. Best wishes for your recovery.
