Possible feature film -- Bryan Cranston has hinted that the series may continue after the season 5 finale, stating "Vince (Gilligan) feels that now we have too much story. We could actually go beyond those 16 episodes. It's not far-fetched. I wouldn't mind visiting that possibility. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't know anything of how the show's going to end. If it doesn't end up in a total apocalypse, who knows? Maybe we could revisit Walter White a year down the road and see where his life has gone. If he's still alive, that is."

It's been a pleasure, folks. Unexpected suprise to run into this thread 'n shoot the breeze over a good show with all ya'll. Props to debz too for playing host.

I think now i am tv showless. Southland was cancelled, nurse jackie wont start up 'til 2014 and don't have the time to get into anything new

Back to Lost and Star Trek: Next Generation for me.

ETA: And Night Court, for kicks :laugh:

Stevia storyline took me by surprise;
the gun set-up was iffy (Walt was far too precise for that scenario)

I'm right there with you. Refuse to watch ANY of Housewife franchise -- it seems all of Cable has been hi-jacked by reality programming. If THAT'S reality, my life is nirvana.

IMO they didn't wrap up Jesse's story at all. As far as the DEA is concerned, he is still likely going to be wanted in connection with the .... dealings and the events that took place at Jack's compound.

Well I meant I loved that he got to strangle Todd and drive off laughing maniacally in an El Camino.

I liked that part too. I just expected more from Vince. BB has always been a show with great twists and the ending was just so predictable it made me sad.

I get what you're saying, but I still found the ending quite satisfying... and I'm usually extremely critical, but this ending just worked for me. I will admit it did have a bit of a bad action movie feel to it, especially with lines like- "Elliott, if we're gonna go that way, you'll need a bigger knife,"

Stevia storyline took me by surprise;

I may have wondered off a bit. I knew he made some ricin, but since Lydia was already in the diner when he walked in how did he slip the ricin-filled "Stevia" packets into the tray on the table?

Either way; as far as finales go it was one of the best I've seen.

Thanks,

Norman
