Oh my goodness, me too!! :D This is my first taste of any flavored juice whatsoever and since I just put together my first PV and filled it with this flavor, I'm still toying with the volts to get the right taste.. the smell definitely fills the room! :) The bottle is about a week old ... I can't wait to see what it'll be like after it's steeped a bit longer.

ok.. what's up with that label? you're making your own with big enough font to read? *round of applause*

Lol, na... I have a bunch of 3ml bottles I bring around with me when I use drip attys so I don't have to carry around some big old 30ml bottle. I got bored at work one day and printed some label's for the little bottles since my hand written ones didn't look "cool" enough.

All of the juices I have had from there honestly aren't great, except for their spearmint. I love their spearmint. The price is amazing. I get a 50ML bottle every few weeks from them and almost vape that exclusively. I need to start getting into other juice vendors though. I've been out of the game for a while haha. I had about 120 ML of fire and ice from vapor bomb, and 100ML of spearmint from MBV and I don't remember what other juices I liked now.

the latest flavors I got from them: (all 70/30 with 1 extra flavor shot) have been steeping for a month now and I tried them all again last night to see how they were now..

Cookies & Cream = still terrible.. not sure what this flavor is supposed to taste like but its not either cookies nor cream

hot chocolate = its not awful, but its not great either.. the choc taste leaves a very scratchy taste in my mouth not sure why, but it seems very artificial flavored

yellow cake = nothing like some other cake flavors I've tried from vendors.. even with extra flavor shots the taste is so muted can barely taste the cake in it

root beer float = actually really good tastes just like the real thing, but its just not something I can vape all the time.

peanut butter cheesecake = this one I made myself (3 parts PB, 2 parts cheesecake, 1 part whipped cream) 1 extra flavor shot of Cheesecake and this is awesome! I will say it tasted good right out of the mail, and after a week of steeping its even better.

but at the same time, even the good ones are not THAT good.. they are just decent. take it for what its worth I guess.. really cheap prices and fast shipping can mean much more than quality to some people.

I wasn't crazy about the hot chocolate at first but it seems I'm not a fan of chocolate or coffee flavors from anywhere. But with the MBV Hot chocolate, I bought some whipped cream flavoring to add to it and now I love it.

I disagree about the quality, I just think everyone is different and as has been said many times, taste is subjective. I've ordered from many different vendors but like MBV the best. I definitely don't love every flavor, but the one's I do, I REALLY do! Vanilla Ice and Moo Juice are always with me. I also love the ability to mix your own - for someone who never wants to DIY, this is a great way to create flavors. I have a peppermint taffy steeping and a peppermint patty type I plan to mix up this week, In those cases, if they don't come out right, it's on me, not them.

Not everyone is going to love every vendor, just like we don't all love the same tanks or setups. While the cheap prices are great at MBV, that's not what keeps me coming back - the juice and the customer service are what make me a repeat customer. Luckily there are enough options out there that everyone can find a juice/vendor that works for them! :vapor:

Here's how I feel about it. When I ordered from Rawrvapor there were some juices I loved, and some juices I didn't like. Even with the ones I did not like I was still able to tell they were a high quality juice due to the fact there was zero chemical taste or artificial taste. I have noticed several juices from MBV tasting like chemicals but also a couple of them have been amazing. So I don't think it's one of the top tier vendors but it's a great price.

I ordered all my MBV juices with the default values and they all have an aftertaste that makes me think I've been trying to vape candle wax.

YMMV, and I hope it does.

The thing you have to remember is that Mt Baker literally makes your juice when you order it. IT MUST STEEP!!! If you start dripping these juices right out of the box you are going to get a perfumey after taste with most of their liquids. This is usually a result of the alcohol base in the flavorings, which is the case with most vendor's flavorings. Pop the tops and drippers off for a day or so, then let them sit for a week or 2 while shaking them every day. If they still have that flavor, let them air a bit more with the tops off. It makes a HUGE difference.

It is true that you get it right away, but they recommend steeping for 14 days....so who cares how fast it comes?

To me, the fast shipping is an indication of the quality of the company as a whole. If it takes 3-4 days for a company to even get my order in the mail, it makes me wonder what is going on with them. With MBV, my order is custom made to my specs and is in the mail that day, or first thing next day if I order too late in the day. Regardless of how long I have to steep once I get it, the fact that they are THAT on top of things speaks volumes about them as a company.

Yes, I know about steeping. As I said, they taste like candle wax, not alcohol.

These tasted horrible after a month of steeping and have not improved a bit since.

how strange. My experience is just the opposite. I find that the flavors are all very strong for me. I like their blueberry, blueberry Ice, blackberry and blackberry Ice very much. Lately, they have been sending out free samples that are not in their inventory which is a bit of a disappointment. I got some raspberry and absolutely loved it.
Taste is subjective. I have not needed to steep anything. but then I hit the mini hand mixer when I get a new juice or make my own.

Well, I feel like I have to chime back in since my post on the 11th. I got my juices from MBV on the 8th and while I don't have the means to properly steep them (ie leaving them uncapped in a closet for a few weeks) I have been shaking/uncapping every chance I get when I'm home.

Taking into account that I haven't steeped to a "T", I gave the juices a little more benefit of the doubt with regards to flavor. Also, I haven't tried any other vendor, so I have nothing to compare to (good, bad, what have you).

That being said, so far, I'm not a huge fan. Everything I got was 50/50, +1 flavor, shot. I really loved the cinnamon roll right off the bat. As of right now, my opinion of it is that I'm getting burned out on it - but it's the best of the worst for me. Caramel apple was just ok - I kept getting a peppery taste to it and it was a real turn off. Someone suggested turning up the voltage and that's helped a lot, so that's a plus. Unfortunately, turning up the voltage on any of the other flavors gives me a burnt taste, which is god awful. Why it doesn't do it on caramel apple is beyond me. Afternoon delight was good, too, but now it tastes like candle wax. Brown sugar has absolutely ZERO flavor to it... I got Green Tea as my freebie but I'm not a green tea fan to begin with so that one is out.

I thought I'd burned out the atomizer when I dialed up the voltage on the other flavors that got the burnt taste, so I swapped them out with fresh attys but that hasn't helped any.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still let the flavors "age", and I won't write off MBV, but maybe the 4 flavors I ordered were poor flavor choices for me. It could be a number of factors, really, but it doesn't seem like these particular flavors from MBV are doing it for me. I'll keep trying them in the weeks to come. I did order some other juices from a few different vendors this week so that's something to look forward to :)
