Kent, that new computer of your should have killer photo editing software as an added app. Load the picture, set it for whatever kb you want and then click apply.

Yeah, I'm reading it as 8kb....this is crazy

It shows as 8kb on my computer.....
I right click, go Image Info, and it shows, 4.62 KB (4,732 bytes)

I'm on a mac and it's being cranky. I have to save to my desktop, open in Finder and then check the size. I tried playing with a bunch of different pictures and I can't get any of them below 7kb even when I set my resolution to 1 and have the height and width set at .5 each.
