Why are my photos so small?

On my computer, the image is large and clear, when I post them, they are so small you can barely see them. Others are posting larger photos... what's going on?

When I upload them they show up as about 20 kb or less. Even when the file I start with is 700+/- kb.

that's because you are having ecf host your pictures

use tinypic, pb, or imgur as a host and you will see the difference. those sites will give you the complete image code to use on the forum or you can click on the image icon in the quick reply box toolbar. choose ''from url'' and paste the pic's url address in the space provided. make sure you UNCHECK ''reference locally''
