Well I have had 6 REOs of the last 8 months or so ...... 4 right in front of me.

Never used it. .... well tried it once.

All it does of me is make things sticky so extra crap gets stuck right were you don't want it.... were you need good contact.

So apparently if you keep things clean and wipe you firing pin and batt contacts with alcohol swabs you don't need it.
My first Grand is 8 months old and its never seen Noalox :)

But most people aren't nearly as clean as I am :) So it might be best to use it.

Never used it, don't even know where the firing pin is or why Rob so generously included it in both my Reo kits...never had a misfire. If ever I do I'll log into the Lounge and somebody will take me by the hand and tell me how to apply an emergency dose, I'm sure.

To be serious (for a brief moment), I have another mechanical mod that misfires like crazy without Noalox so I think its something every vapor needs in their arsenal.

I rarely apply it once a month maybe the earlier models had a flat firing pin it was needed more then then it is know.Everyone should clean the contact a couple times a year.

I can attest to this. My first Grand has a flat pin and I have to clean/noalox it about every three to four weeks. My newer one has the angled firing pin, and I haven't done anything with that one in amost 4 months and it hits right all the time

My minis fire better with it. I also no longer get the spark between the batt and the pin when using it. I assume that since it's a conductor it helps direct the charge to the pin. I apply it every couple weeks or so.

Since it stops the spark then it reduces the chance of explosion from major analous gassious discharge events.

:)

Not only does it help with mis firing.. It also makes sparks go away!!! When i first got the reo it would make a small spark eveytime i press the button. After some noalox it went away..

You just made me take both my never noaloxed REOs into the dark closet ...... No spark

I had the door off and my face inches from the pin/batt .... nuttin ... weird.

Now that I think about it, I may have been getting the sparks from protected Surefire batts I used to use. I don't use them anymore but that may be a difference. The sparks didn't happen every time, just now and again. It may have to do with if the batt has a full charge on it and arcs. I guess it's like the arc you can get from a car batt. Lots of amps in these things.
