I've been liking this new tank but I kept getting dry hits.
At first, it was great. Good flavour and a kinda funky alien look. Then, I started getting more and more dry hits after the first top up.
I tried lots of tipping and twirling and that helped but chain vaping was not possible.
I was thinking that the silicone cap on the replaceable head might be constricting the wicks when I tightened the top down.
Tonight, I pulled the silicone cap off and cut about a millimetre off the bottom of it. This seemed to have solved the problem.

No they dont wick very well and after i did your trick with the silicone cap which gives the wick more room it works great. Im going to play around and see if i can get rid of the short wick on top or cut it back to the coil.

I'll have to give this a try. Ditto to your experience :)

Great review. I just watched it on my phone and I think you did a great job. I have not had ANY leaking at all...and I left the wicks they way they came but I still get good vapor. I definitely think if the 1100mah battery was VV it would benefit greatly.

I tried it on my eGo-c twist at 4.2 volts and it performs much better than the standard 3.7v (I think that's what it is) but even with the standard non VV battery it vapes quite well IMHO. I like the large tank and with the UVO battery it's very well balanced. If you use the eGo battery then it's top heavy but not too bad for me.

I have not had any really "dry hits" yet, but then I tend to tip it often just as a habit. I do that with my T2's as well just because.

I'm learning a lot and in the first 2 weeks of vaping and off analogs I am very very happy!!! I have also helped 4 others kick analogs and they are now also vaping instead.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks! You too! lol Seems like you have a great handle on all this stuff for being so new to it. And ya the tank at 3.7 volts is a little weak, I think 4-4.2 is where it should be at. And as far as the dry hits it may just be the coil I have as the first one was put together very poorly in the factory.....I really find that if i don't have it filled to above the middle with juice the dry hits keep coming :)

Coming from someone who is so well versed in this "vaping" world I take that as a great compliment. :)

I do like to know as much as I can about everything I get involved with...it's just my nature. I look forward to hearing more of your views and suggestions on gear/e juice!
