Oh wow, I'd have asked for a refund after the second time! I have a friend who had his 360 fail on him once then they sent him another one with the motherboard replacement and he hasn't had an issue since, almost for a year now. I guess it's a luck of the draw type of thing.

@Ducky, do you have SOCOM Confrontation? That's what I've been playing almost exclusively, since the beta in September I play my other games but I always spend the most time on SOCOM

I've got a ps3, wii and an xbox 360. I was always a ps2 fanboi but I gotta admit, the xbox sees about 90% of the action in a house full of gamers. Sony's arrogance going back years has really bit em in the ....

At least it makes a nice blu-ray player

Heh, we have lots of games around here too. Our PS3 doesn't get used much, but I expect it to have a long life like the PS2. Speaking of the PS2, I'm playing Digital Devil Saga right now. I'm on an Atlus kick.

After Digital Devil, I've got the new Star Ocean for the 360 calling my name... that should take up a good chunk of the rest year. <G>

I've always been a bit of a gaming dork.

I've got a PS3, 360, and Wii, as well. It would take way too long to list my games.

I've been playing a lot of MLB 09: The Show for the PS3, lately.

Well, if you like Zelda games, you'll love the Twilight Princess on the Wii.

I hate to admit it but I loved Twilight Princess. The Wii has some really fun social games on it.

We have a PS3 and it never gets used except for the occasional Blue Ray DVD.

I hardly ever use my PS3 for anything but socom and as a media device, my 360 gets most of the gaming attention. The PS3 is a BEAST of a multimedia device though, i have over 500 gigs of downloaded movies / tv shows / music / etc ( torrents ) that i can stream from my external drive to my PS3, including 1080p movies with 5.1 DD!

If you are tech savvy then i think the PS3 is worth the pricetag as a bluray and multimedia device easily.
