Anyone else hesitant to buy a new model?

I have an Ego currently, but really want something else. I know me, and my luck, the second I do something better will come out, and I`ll want that! Or as in the case of my Ego, I could put together a package with the 900mah batteries for cheaper than what I bought mine for a month ago with the 650mah batteries.

I`m close to St. Louis where they are having the Vapefest this year in August, and am trying to hold out to see if the vendors there will have any new products or deals. Anyone go to it last year and have any info.?

Hey Z, just go for it...because you deserve it!

imo, nothing wrong with splurging some of that substantial analog savings on yourself. Doesn't affect the "savings" calculations because it's not a necessity item but a discretionary purchase, and therefore not a "cost" of vaping. Sorta like I had to have the classiest $75 lighter back in the day when smoking was totally cool (that was a LOT of money in the early sixties). That was not a "cost" of smoking.

20/20 hindsight sucks sometimes because it creates regret...yeah you could've waited for that unknown 900mah that you didn't know about...but you wouldn't have had one month of eGo euphoria! lol The latest and greatest is always "just around the corner."

Love the rationalization shaka. Have to look away real fast to not see the flaws in it :glare: but I love it none the less. :)

Hesitant about buying a new model?

I bought a Blu, RN4081, KR808 and Joye 510 BRFORE I bought my eGo.

For me, the eGo is about where I want to be. Good battery life and a compact size. I wanted something that would last all day on one battery and the eGo pretty much does that.

I've looked and PVs with loger battery life but they all start to look like a screw driver with a carto on the end of it.

The eGo fits well in my hand and I'm happy with it once I got a third battery and modified the cone to work better with cartos.

shaka thanks for "helping me out". I`m the last one in the world that needs help justifying something! It`s just pulling the trigger that gets me. Just going to keep saving what I would have spent until the August vapefest. That makes more sense I don`t really need one right now, and I`ll really be disappointed if I go there and see something in person I have to have, and don`t have the coin to get it.

Midwest Vapefest 2010!

That sounds like a smart decision!
Personally I use an EGO & a Hello Tech 016 1300mAh battery w/ LR 510 atties.
If & when you buy, whatever it is... I hope the deal comes w/ extras.
Keep on vaping! Aloha.

I did loads of looking and searching before i brought my 1st proper e-cig after trying a throw away model .
And i brought it because its simple easy to maintain no wires or lights and very hardy and can change from a very small ecig to a big one depending on battery size , and takes so many types of battery asnd combo's to many to list .
Also almost any atty / cartomizer
Quality is 2nd to none and will prob out live me

GGTS

Might seem TO cost alot in USA

As we in uk pay prob $9 ish for 20 analogs its not that badly priced

20 days on 20 aday analogs its pasid for .:D

I was lucky in that I ended up here before I bought anything.
I eventually bought a JOYE510 and its still my faithful workhorse (though I got a PT or 2, one at 3.7v and one at 5v) and recently a minivapestack (which uses the 510 atty) so I've been very happy with all my 'buys'.
Right now I'm on the horns of a dilema looking at a 5v mod to get - I have pretty narrowed it to a list of 2, and I'm sure I'll be happy with either of them on my list but I totally get what the OP is saying - but sometimes we just have to bite the bullet and GO for it lol
