100% VG seems to be all the rage, and I understand why some with allergies to PG need these options. But most seem to just like to chuck obnoxious amounts of vapor and make a spectacle of themselves.

I know I am surely in the minority here, but I am really not a fan of high VG and 100% VG liquids, I find the throat hit is more like a wet damp sponge than a firm thump, the flavors do not tend to stand out and be recognized like a PG/VG liquid does.

Anyone else feel as I do?

As soon as my new Kanger tank comes in tomorrow, I'll know. I've been using 50/50 e-juices since beginning in November, but just received a 30ml bottle of Relax Pina Colada 70/30 (24mg) from vaporbeast. At $9 for 30ml, free shipping, I couldn't resist.

Hopefully the more PG will live up to the bill, as many vendors are pushing this PG to VG ratio.

My regular Virginia is 85% PG. When they once ran out of that, I had to get their 85% VG Virginia to keep the same taste -- and walked around for about 10 days feeling and sounding like a cat with a hairball it can't cough up. It feels EXACTLY like there's some obnoxious heavy substance in your lungs that you need to get rid of... but it won't move!

When my regular 85% PG Virginia came back in stock, I got some right away, but it took most of a week for that awful feeling to go away. I have asthma, I can't be inhaling something that heavy! Never again!

This is why there are choices, and thank goodness for that. Some like heavy VG some like the opposite. I have a very sensitive throat and high PG gives me too much TH. Some like high VG or all VG because of allergies to PG.

I like 50/50 myself. Many vendors go with higher PG because its friendlier to atomizers and cartomizers. With summer here the heat makes the liquid thin, so this is when I up my VG, thicker means less chances of it seeping out.

I've tried almost every ratio except 90-100% PG. I tried 100% VG a few times because I was getting an irritated throat from vaping and I assumed it was a PG sensitivity. Turns out, the 100% VG I've tried were either super thick and didn't wick well so I kept getting dry hits or it made my throat hurt even more, so I'm sticking with my 50/50 mix, seems most consistent for me.

I use around 30/70 PG/VG.
I certainly have no interest in 'chuck'ing obnoxious amounts of vapor or making any spectacle.
I like seeing a thick fog slowly coming out my nose; it's somehow reassuring, and relaxing.

I do prefer the taste of the VG compared to PG.

I mix at 70-80% VG. Find high PG to harsh. Like the smooth vape and great flavor of high VG mixes, want more throat hit, easy, just and some cinnamon or other strong flavor to the mix. Everybody's different, that's what makes vape so kewl, can customize your vape gear and liquid every step along the way to get ones own optimum vape. Plus mixing 100% VG takes longer to emulsify everything, and flavor development takes more time too.

    No you can't
I've had problem with VG for over a year, would give me gas and BM problems though I did have an operation that I believe led to this issue so I switched to 25VG/75PG worked ok. This last week I made up juice at 40% VG, I have some gas issues but vaping at higher watts seems to help me a lot. If this works out for me I'll be mixing at 50/50.

I do like clouds of smoke.

I slowly went from 50/50 to 80/20 VG...... It gave me zits for the first time since I was in my late teens.....I'm 55. I had to recently back off the VG a bit.

You're supposed to vape it, not rub the juice all over your body, that's and entirely different juice. lmao.

Yeah, everyone is different, personal customization is one of the beautiful things, and most frustrating things about vape. Beautiful once one finds their true Vape, frustrating until it is found.

    Vape long and Prosper!!!
