Anyone else run into this ?

vaping away and all of a sudden.. not much vapor,,,atomizer getting hot,,,good battery,,,add some more juice,,,still minimal vapor.

So I change atomizers,,,same battery, same cartridge.
Now getting clouds of vapor.

Finally dawns on me that I've flooded the atomizer.

Learning something new every day...
Just gotta hit that happy medium I guess.:)

Certain atomizers flood differently, if at all
I do not know how many drops you drip, but it is a matter of knowing your product and that may take some time Be patient
If or when I do think I flooded, I take my atz off immedialty and blow it clean, wipe it down and start it up as soon as I can, so the heat can burn the excess off. The juice on the cart, if it is loaded, can drip into the at, but I kinda want it too. I do not over load the att and the cart, at the same time, Although, I do not use a cart, that often anymore
I drip and vape directly on the atomizer, it works for me

Again, it is all a matter of developing an idea of how your products respond to your routine and you to it as well

good luck

I find that two drops is usually adequate for my penstyle device. The best vapor starts just after the atomizer stops gurgling. You know what I mean if you drip. Gurgling is a sure sign you dropped too much. Another technique you can try is one drop on the atomizer and two on the inside of the atomizer barrel. This reduces the chances of flooding and provides a more controlled stram of liquid that has to crawl down the barrel before hitting the atomizer.

I only have an 801 but it really rocks when I do the right things.

The thing is strange really; when you think you need to add more juice, just the opposite, you've added too much
and flooded the thing.

I can drip, but with difficulty with the long 801 atomizer.

HI 500KV I find the if I use a pipette, those long tube like plastic straws, for dripping my 801's I have a lot more success. I cannot drip very well, from the top of the 801 atz, evn with a ton of practice, So, find soemthing that allows you to get down into/unto the coil of the 801, and it may work for you

I sometimes experience this but I dont think it is as a result of flooding(DSE901). It seems that If I take too many drags and the atty gets too hot it experiences some kind of vapor lock or shutdown. Sometimes its too hot to touch. I tried it with a couple of atmomizers and same result. Has anyone else experienced this?
