I previously went on a plane with my Ali'i (bottom feed wood mod).

Unfortunately for me, I forgot having read that the Ali'i will leak on a pressurized plane!

For those unfamiliar, the Ali'i has a plastic bottle filled with juice, and a tube which goes up to a thin metal feed, which, when the bottle is squeezed, delivers juice to the atty.

The device is leak proof, unless you happen to be in a pressurized cabin, which apparently exerts pressure on the bottle, squeezing all of the juice up and out!

Yup! I found myself on a five hour flight, with my shirt pocket covered in sticky Halo Torque 56! Great to vap, not so great to wear!

About to go on another five hour flight to New York.

Anyone know if a MAP tank on a ProVari would leak in a pressurized plane? I don't think it should, but I'd rather ask...

Thanks for any input!

Just keep the MAP tank empty while on the plane. You cannot vape/smoke on a plane anyway so I'm not getting the issue?

FWIW, the MAP tank should not leak due to pressure in atmosphere changes since the tank can "breathe" through the tiny holes in the CE2 cap. Sealed bottles, are, well, sealed. Just make sure whatever mod you have the juice "container" has positive airflow both directions.

I have taken my MAP tanks on about 6 flights so far, no problems at all. For security I remove the tank and put in the bag with other liquids, then just reattach after being checked. On the flight had no problem (all of those I had 3 tanks with different flavors on me, all full). Only issue is the standard one where sometimes leaving a MAP tank on its side will cause some leakage, but nothing specific to being on a plane.

Um... yeah. Well, I guess I'm not supposed to vape on a plane, but some of us do. Never had an issue, and I've vapped on flights to Israel and domestic flights to Dallas.

Actually, I know you're not supposed to *smoke* on a plane....

Thanks! I'll be sure to remove the tank before going through check-in!
