I am thinking that when I set up my Subtank mini with the .5Ω coil, I might need to lower my nic level. I have the 1.2Ω coil in now and am using 18mg/ml juice at 13W. The clouds are great as is the flavor.
Has anyone gotten nic-sick when using the .5Ω coil? I appear to have a high tolerance for nic, and know what the symptoms are. Just curious about it?

Ummm yea, you DEFINITELY need to lower your nic.

If you vape around 18mg normally, then you be sub ohming at 6mg. Or 12mg at the HIGHEST.

I recently moved over to sub-ohming, and am now mainly using dual coil RTA's at between 0.7-0.4ohms, kanthal builds.

I went from tootlepuffing at 10-13w, to sub-ohming at 25-40w, but kept using the same 12mg juice.

My daily consumption has risen from an average of 4ml to 5ml per day, so not much difference.

I find I'm enjoying taking 1-2 second vapes on the sub-ohm kit, rather than 4-7 second vapes on the tootlepuffing kit.

I've not gotten nic sic, but I never chain vape (I don't have the time), and I listen to my body when it says I'm nic loaded.

nope your body should know

Except your body won't know til AFTER you start feeling nauseous, dizzy, etc. There is no way to gauge this "ahead of time".

Personally, when switching to sub ohm I would reduce my nic level substantially, then work up from there.

For experimental session, all one has to do is dilute their ejuice a bit w/ some PG or VG and take it from there.

When I sub ohm. ..I only use 3mg nic...since you take in a lot more volume I like the lower nic and I don't need to worry about getting nic sick.

I started with 12mg and 18mg on an Ego set up, when i started getting better equipment and using sub ohm builds i ended up dropping to 6mg and then started making my own juice at 4mg.

Someone gave me a bottle of 12 mg a while back and i couldn't handle it, made my a bit dizzy and the flavor was bad too, i just don't like heavy nic anymore.

I used to smoke 2 packs a day and after 1 year of vaping I'm finding even 6mg is a bit high. I'm going to drop down to 3mg... unfortunately, I still have 4 month's worth of 6mg left.
Get 0mg in your flavor and cut it 50/50 with your 6mg.
Boom! 8 months worth of 3mg!

I have stock of 4 months 9mg/ml strong menthol flavor that I don't know what to do and it taste bad mixing with other flavor. Today I buy 100% vg from a pharmacy shop and mix 50/50. Now I can sub ohm with it and the menthol flavor is about right not too strong anymore. I reckon it still can last for 4 month due to sub ohming.

You can get "nic sick" from toodle puffing. I've given my brother in law a few puffs on my PV and it made him choke for a good 10-15mins, he just wasn't used to it. It just depends what your body is used to and what tolerances it can handle. If you feel yourself getting dizzy, lightheaded or even get the hiccups you might consider lowering your nic consumption. It won't kill you unless you seriously over do it and even then your body would find a way to get rid of the substance, usually via vomiting or .........

No one can answer how much you can handle since we're all individuals you just have to play around with it and know the symptoms.

In Plain Jane Vaping I vaped at 10mg.

When I go to Sub Ohm Vaping on a regular RBAI cut it to 6mg.

Lately I"ve been vaping on a Crown Sub Ohm Tank at .15Ohms and I cut it to .3mg and am thinking about down to 1.5mg. Crown really puts out voluminous vaper.

Yes in the past I've vaped too much an felt the effects of too much nicotine.

The poster asked for personal experience and this is mine.

In my opinion Nicotine is a poison, a little is fine, but too much is not good for you.

I vape 3mg since I upgraded to a FeV RTA. Usually at around 30W and I can chain vape without any noticable effects.
For ....s and giggles I sometimes push it to 50W and get dizzy after a couple minutes.

Resistance of my build varies, but doesn't really matter. 50W is 50W either way. My current 1,2 hits just as good as the 0,4 before.

Yes. But not as quickly as with super high ohming.

With sub I'm at 6mg on RTA's and 3mg with drippers. But some tanks run pretty wild and I get alittle sick. My Goblin for example I can only chain vape 3mg in.

For some friends I rebuild tanks and mix joose. Everything is always returned tested and ready for action It takes just a very small amount of 12mg to make me sick. Luckily those joose's are very high PG 50/50 stuff and I'm usally coughing so bad from the PG the nic can't get to me. Zero nic high PG joose makes me cough but it doesn't make me sick.

I have been nic sick a few times. Once vaping 24mg and I collapsed on the hockey rink playing goal. Lowered to 18 for a few months and got nic sick again. Just headaches this time so lowered to 12mg where I remain today. I sub ohm at .5 to plus ohms with 12mg with no problems. I go lower than .5 or cloud chase I go down to 6 or 3mg. But I am getting ready and vaping 6mg occassionally to make a perminate drop to 6mg shortly. Big goal is to get to zero nicotine. CHEERS!

Yeah sometimes I get a sick feeling in my stomach when I vape my sub ohm coils. It's definitely attributed to the nic level though. But after I put it down for a bit I'm fine afterwords. It only happened a few times

last week I squirted in too much 24mg in my rda (was meaning to add a few drops but I wasn't seeing so well so maybe more like 20 to 40 drops worth squirted in from my ucan).
was strong as I expected, but what I didn't expect was the tip of my tongue got burnt sore for a few hours.
that was on a 2+ ohm coil at 10 to 15 watts.
