I have tried a few of the Hangsen flavors. RY1 and Indian are both very mild, in fact a little too mild for my tastes. I started out at 2% with all the ones I bought. I tried doubling them to 4-5% flavoring, and they were better, but still very mild tasting. I guess if you're looking for something that tastes like a very mild cigarette, they may come close, but I really didn't get much tobacco taste. I'm going to let them steep a little longer - I had given them a week, then two weeks.

The Arabian has a little more punch, and a nice earthy taste I really like. Not perfumy at all. It also seems to last a really long time and produced nice clouds of vapor. In fact that last statement could apply to all three of these flavors.

I can't remember if there was a fourth Hangsen I bought. I'm at work right now and can't check, so I can't check my supplies.

To my understanding, the hangsen essence line isn't really super concentrated. One website recommends 5-7%. My experience is that 5% is definitely a minimum. Some of their flavors may even require 10%... Even then hangsen flavors are often mild. To my tastes, they don't bury the tobacco flavor behind other accenting flavors... I even find their ry4 pretty gentle, with the tobacco being the most out front.

Now that I think about it some more, is Indian in this case supposed to mean American Indian or Asian Indian? I was thinking Asian Indian, and I almost expected the flavor to have traces of sandalwood or even possibly Sacred Cow dung. Don't laugh! Some people consider cow dung purifying and use it as soap or cooking briquettes!

And right now I am vaping some of the Indian at work, and I think it is very close to a mild cigarette. Again, nothing perfumy about it at all. No fruity or other non-tobacco flavors either. I'm halfway tempted to add a diluted drop of tobacco absolute to give it a little more tobacco flavor, but I am disillusioned with the absolute, in that it reminds me more of the stuff you scrape off the bottom of a lawnmower than tobacco. It's very green, to my tastes.

Actually, if the Indian had a slight whiff of hashish, it would be perfect!

Yes you are right. The Hangsen line is not as concentrated as the FlavorExpress line. Most of the FE tobacco you can use around 1-2%. I believe the fruits require a little more for most. Hangsen is a great brand, but does require 5-15% depending on your personal preference. I have recently used the Hangsen Ry4 flavor, and was happy at 6%. Then I tried FE MLB, and was happy at 2%.
This was all with zero steeping, so I'm not sure how that will change things. I know most of the time that steeping will enhance the flavor a bit.
