I bought a couple of Bauway's LR 510 attys from madvapes. They definitely did the job, but one lasted me 4 days, the second didn't even last me 24 hours. That was with no dry vaping or overworking. Most of my standard 510's have lasted me months w/ only a couple bad seeds here and there.

Anyone have suggestions on good vendors or brands?

Whether LR or not, I cannot wrap my head around what makes certain atties last or die so soon.

I have this one atty... a regular SLB 901 that I got from Madvapes.
I have abused this atty with every juice I have received...
Had it on 6v,5v and 3.7v... I have had it in everclear 4 times...
and after almost 2.5 months of daily use, it seems to be better than ever (knock on wood).

Meanwhile, I have a small box of about 8 atties (LR and Reg) that were used for a day or two at most that died... joye/slb 510's mostly)

My LR 901's lasted about a month...

I have 2 LR BE112's in rotation that have been going strong for a month.

My problem is not how long they last because I can't get pass the major leaking my first one does...I just can't stand the leaking ...who has this problem? Any cure for that? It gets all over the PV, which gets all over my hands...and I thought they vaped great, which they really do but...:glare:

I agree, the one that I am using now leaks like crazy and I've never had that problem with any attys of any type before. The first LR didn't leak much at all so I maybe just got a bad one. I really like them but I don't know if I'll keep getting them if they have these problems. My two are from Eastmall also.

Sounds like if your leakin your a drippin too much. Here's what Di @ EM said bout um:

"EM-LR9 is good and works really well,
And vapes like a train -----

The EM-LR8 – this has 2 large holes for good airflow –
is also very good and floods the place with vapor,

However I will warn you now—

DO NOT FLOOD THESE ATTY’S

If you use a cartridge with your atty you will be fine,

If you drip –
PLEASE only drip 3 or 4 drops at a time, maximum,
Attys are designed to atomize, - not to be a juice reservoir

The atty must have holes for airflow, so if you overdrip, it will leak -
So if you overdrip,-
You will get leakage from any atty, as it passes down through these airholes.

With 510, - 901 – 401 – use 3 drops maximum
With 801 use 4 drops maximum.

ALSO ---- if you drip,
You should check your battery often and clean off any excess juice---
to make sure you are not flooding your battery."

They're 1.6v +/- .1v

My experiences with the LR 510's from various suppliers has been inconsistent at best. Some work very well but die a quick death. Others leak like a sieve. Others have an off-flavor (not primer) that won't go away. Others have overly tight draws. I chalk it up to a lack of QC in the industry that will hopefully get better as time goes on. If we can get to the point that every LR atty per manufacturer performs consistently, atty after atty, we'll realy be getting somewhere. As of now, not even close in my experience.

My first LR 501 No Name) lasted 3 weeks. I loved it. So I started ordering more from other suppliers, thinking they were all pretty much the same. I know have a bag full of 15 dead ones, all in less than a month. (yeah, do the math - ouch). The Yeti's were the worst, they went belly up on every PC I have, eGo, SB and REO, most within 1 or 2 hours, using cartridges.
Just ordered a pack of 5 from EM along with some HV ones.

I do love LR Attys at 3.7V, but they are VERY inconsistent and can prove to be expensive. But with the price of a pack of Analogs around here, if they last a day, it's still a bit cheaper.

Hello, and yes the 510 LR attys can be pretty bad.....But, if you use them on a Ego battery they are great.....So, if you have an Ego/Tornado....get the 510 LR atty....
I am going to post my own findings after using LR attys since March 26....Just waiting till I have the time....Take care...and of course Enjoy the Adventure...

Thanks for the heads up on EastMall! I'll probably end up ordering a couple or five. ;) I've been vaping for over a year and have never had these atty issues. I went with the lr's hoping for a more portable solution to my HV mods, but for now it seems I'm gonna be stickin with them. Too bad the BB no longer takes 2 cr2s.
