Anyone have problems with Vivi heads "clogging" or becoming flooded?

Weirdest thing has been happening on my newest 2.8 coil for my Nova. After a few periods of vaping, it seems the tank gets flooded and it won't cook the juice anymore, even though my button is firing.

none of my other coils have had this problem, and its a bit annoying. For the most part, it takes me unscrewing the tank and blowing hard down the drip tip, mostly resulting in no clogged juice getting blown out, so it seems the air passage isn't exactly blocked.

it does this even when my tank is below half full, even when I'm not tipping and rolling to saturate the wicks.

I threw out at least 4 heads that appeared to be flooded and dead, the 5th one I did this and it worked fine the next day. Anytime I seemingly kill a vivi head I leave it overnight and it's fine the next day...they are curious and unpredictable little things but w/ some patience and the right attitude they will serve you well. Also the right voltage helps but it's not mandatory...

I've been using vivi novas for a couple months now exclusively and I know what you speak of. I did a complete disassembly and rinse under a hot running tap. Let it dry and reassemble the next day. I've had heads die doing this for no rhyme or reason so caution is advised if you have no backups. The heads never seemed to fully recover imo, but, a simple replace and its running like it is brand new! Let it be known i've never gotten anything to dry burn and taste not burned lol.

I got into a group of new vivi heads that are marked 2.4 however they are really 2.9 to 3.4ohms. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting much vapor. They would start to flood because they need a much higher voltage setting. So you might check the ohms on the head or try using at a higher voltage. Just a thought.

Good morning all,I just recieved my 1st vivi 2.5 yesterday gald it was just 12 bucks IMO there junk,I tryed all 3 heads I would get 2/3 good hits then burnt nasty got I hate that taste,Thing that hurts the most is that I wasted bout 5ml of good RY4 LOL so in the garbage they went dont have time for that..Krap

I had this too. I watched a video to that helped with this. I reamed the slots where the wick passes through on the head, maybe 1.5 times the original gap. Also cut 2 notches out of the plastic cap that sits on the head to stop the plastic cap from squashing the wick. It helped but I think what it really comes down to is how thick your juice is and what kind of wick you use. I hear a lot of people love these things, so I do recommend to other vapers to try them.
