So I got a black Hades, a Cerberus, and a Big Tobh V2.5 from angelcigs... So far, I love the Hades, the Tobh has flaws but is manageable, and the Cerberus seems flawless but I can't get my build right. I've tried 2 builds with 24g Kanthal, 9 wraps each at the first coming in at .21Ω I think and the second 12 wraps at ~.3Ω. Both times the vape is good, but juice just sprays into my mouth. Anyone out there build one of these that doesn't have that problem? Pics would be appreciated :D

Also, side note on clone qualities from angelcigs... The Hades is listed as spring switch, but came with magnets (a plus in my book). Also, the Hades & Cerberus do work together in hybrid mode like the authentics :p

I just got mine. The build is a pisser for sure. I just saw a build on YouTube though that positions things differently than I have and I'm going to try that. As for spraying in the mouth, I had this problem with verticle coils because the wick is right up top by the drip tip hole. After I went horizontal that stopped.

Can you tell me whatcyhe benefits of hybrid mode are? Mine is on a Megan and it won't fit hybrid. So was thinking about getting a Hades but does it matter?

I love the hades/cerberus combo. I have two setup always. One has a longer drip tip and the other uses a SS cloud chaser tip from cherry vape and have had no issues with juice in mouth. Both are setup with horizontal coils.
The thing I like most about this hybrid setup is the small size - given, its a 26650 device - but it is pocketable/carry-worthy for me.

I love my Cerberus in hybrid mode on the Hades. It has benched all my other drippers and some tanks too. Here's the build I keep going back to although I've done vertical and horizontal, this seems to work best. 9 wraps of twisted 28awg around a 2.4mm screwdriver with koh gen do cotton pads vaping bloodbath by GWAR. Flavor is amazing and vapor is tough to beat. I've experienced some juice spatter in shorter big bore drip tips but a Ming tip or something longer seems to fix that problem.

I can't seem to build that setup. I position the cylinder the same but put the coil in the other arch that lines up with the negative pin and I can install them much more quickly. Your way I seem to always get my leads touching something hokey.

obviously those are pretty gunked up right now but you get the idea. I'm liking it better than I did tue first few builds for sure.

i've noticed with my tobh, oddly enough if i'm getting sputtering or juice in the mouth, it's usually

#1. not sucking hard enough (yes really)
or
#2. there's a grip ton of juice built up in a little pool in my drip tip
#3 if these don't work i get upset and dry fire the wick until it's bone dry, redrip and see if that works.

Might be my prep for the setup then. When I'm installing the coils, I start with the positive as far in and touching as I screw it down. Then I put my screwdriver in and angle the tip down to the bottom corner of the drip well (directly under negative screw) and tighten negative screw. Then after both leads are tightened, I readjust from 30 degrees to horizontal and make sure nothing is touching. This tends to lift up the negative lead off the deck too. It's a blast to build on no matter how you choose to build it. I haven't tried a 6 coil build yet. That will probably be next but I just put this build in today and is firing on all cylinders flawlessly.
