I am a machinist and want to make my own battery holder (like a screwdriver or such), but I need some prints or a drawing of what all needs to be made (such as how to make contacts for the battery, wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams and such).

Anyone have one? I haven't found one posted on here anywhere...I may just be missing it.

I've only been vaping since the beginning of December, so I'm still learning all this stuff. But, haven't bought a real cig since then!!!

Sometimes the parts I make at work have a cycle time of well over an hour and I'm just sitting there listening for a cutter to break or something (if it's aluminum, then I don't even have to worry about that) and can use the mills and lathes around for whatever if they're not in use.

Well start looking at the expensive 'American Made' mods. Find a good Chinese activation switch and a spring or two, grab some aluminum and run with it. Most, although very pretty and well made, are also astonishingly simple and basic. Many of the home-brew plastic box mods featured here are considerably more complex.

I just drew up basic 2D CAD drawings of all my battery boxes and parts (LEDS, switches, batteries, connectors, etc.) so that I could play around with part placement. Unfortunitely, my tolerances are not very percise (NOT up to CNC tolerances!), they're just close enough for me to "virtually test fit". It sounds like what you need are mechanical drawings of a couple flashlights so you can compare simularities/differences and then make your own. Or you could probably look at some of the mods on these forums and then buy some of the same flashlights to use as your template (I know the Screwdriver and other 5v flashlight mods have had links posted to suppliers - just search the mod forums)

Let me know if there's anything I can help with (though I'm on the architectural side of things and not a mechanical designer/drafter).
