Anyone have trouble with Nicoticket juices in the Halo Triton?

Hey guys. I received an order from Nicoticket yesterday, loaded up the tank, and HOLY CRAP. It is harsh. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what. The bottles smell a little weird, kind of like alcohol, but the juices were made in October, so they should be well steeped by now.

Has anyone else had trouble with Nicoticket juices in their Tritons?

Hi there I never had that problem with the Nicoticket juices when I used Triton tanks, but that's been a while. Have the juices been exposed to air before? ( I'm assuming yes because they're from October, but I know how much extra juice we all manage to collect)

Was it only one flavor, or more than one?

Could it be the nicotine level?

Have you tried them in other devices besides the Triton tank?

Sorry for all the questions, but that will help us narrow it all down.

It was all three of the flavours I bought: Custard's Last Stand, Frenilla, and Wakonda. They do all have the vanilla base in them, so if it was a bad batch of their in house vanilla extract, that could explan it.

I don't think it's the nicotine level. I've been vaping 6mg juices from other vendors with no issue at all.

I'm just starting out, so the Triton is all I have at the moment. I don't have any other devices available.

Hmmm I'm not really sure. I know the vanilla extract he uses are done with an alcohol, as are most extracts for juices. Might be helpful to take the caps off and let them air out a little longer. And you might get a more helpful response on the nicoticket forum, I used to use them all the time in my tritons at 12mg and had no problems.

I did let them air overnight, and that reduced the alcohol smell a bit, but when I loaded up a tank this morning, it was still super harsh. That and Wakonda and Custard's Last Stand taste exactly the same (maybe a hint of coffee flavor on the Wakonda). I e-mailed Nicoticket, so maybe they can advise me a bit more

I've also noticed a harsh peppery taste in certain brands of juices. Sometimes the juice brand will taste clean like the halo juices and others are just harsh. I heard it's due to the purity of the nicotine, the purer the nicotine the cleaner the vape. Sometimes I'll be able to make the juice taste cleaner by changing the vv, from like 4.3 to a 4.0, but not always. Idk though, I'm a fairly new vaper.

I don't think a Triton has anything to do with bad juice or juice made with cheap nic or bases.

I agree. The Triton brings out the qualities of a juice, good or bad. I have a bunch of BVC tanks, vivinova glass and nautilus. But none give me better flavor than the Triton.
