Yes, my batches were from 10/28 (Wakonda) 10/24 (CLS) and 10/27 (Frenilla). $.40/ml makes much more sense, haha. I have 30ml of Strawnilla coming on Tuesday (ordered before this whole debacle) that you may be interested in as well, should it prove to be a dud also. I suppose that will be the deciding factor: if I hate a Nicoticket juice that will most likely be coming from a different batch, then I suppose their in house vanilla just doesn't agree with me. I put In the application to become a verified member, so I'll be gaining access to the classies soon, hopefully.
I'll keep my eye on the classifieds, but I feel if you let them steep a few weeks I'm sure you will change your mind.

I just received 3 bottles of Nicoticket liquid today - CLS, Frenilla, and Wakonda - and all 3 bottles have a strong, almost alcohol-y smell to them. All 3 bottles were produced in October of last year, so it seems to me that they should be adequately steeped. I filled a tank with Wakonda, and not only does it taste kind of odd (like a synthetic coffee candy) but it's really harsh on the throat. Is this typical for Nicoticket? I've so been looking forward to receiving this order, since everyone rants and raves about them, but I'm just feeling disappointed at the moment.

never once have i smelled alcohol in a nicoticket juice... i have, however, smelled a whole lotta "win." hope you get the matter resolved to your satisfaction!

I have never had a NT juice that didn't improve with additional steeping over and above the presteep they do. Give the juices some time and like has been already said- chances are excellent they'll come around for you. You have already made NT aware of a potential problem, I'd be surprised if they wouldn't work with you on a replacement if there's still a need.

Be sure to review the steeping recommendations, especially leaving the caps off for a period of time. This allows the more volatile elements to balance out.

And good luck!

Are you using a fresh coil? Or at least a clean one? The halo triton was my first setup, and I have tried wakonda in it with a 2.6-.8 ohm coil, using the triton VV battery at around 4.0 volts. The flavor did not remind me of alcohol, nor does any NT juice. I prefer using my NT juice in a dripper though. (or any juice...but the triton get the job done...). Wakonda is a bit bitter and sweet for me... I think maybe that combination of flavor and the device/coil may be providing your taste buds with a uncool funky experience.

-try a different coil or clean/dry-burn the ones you have
-let it steep for a week and try again-

I have recently started using my triton again at work, where I am forced to stealth vape - and the triton and some NT betelguese / gravity serve me well- I'm using these flavors because they are the ones I have in a higher mg... I prefer the virus.... and I prefer it in my other devices to get better flavor... I will try to remember to load up some wakonda this coming week to see if I can provide you with anymore tips...good luck and vape on.

I really hope this is not the case, but I do know other people who's taste buds don't care for certain flavorings. That being said, the equipment being used makes a tremendous difference with any liquid. Five Pawns has a lot of flavoring, as they customize for Kayfun atomizers. Contacting Nicoticket was a smart decision.

Yep, it's definitely the vanilla that doesn't agree with me. Got my Strawnilla from Giant Vapes today, and it still has that strange smell to my nose. Must just be a personal taste thing. I'm going to let all of the flavours steep for a few weeks (maybe until the end of February) and reassess then.

Side note: didn't realize the 30mls don't come with a dropper. Wah wah.

I could have told you it was your taste buds from the beginning and I can't believe you expected them to send you more juice haha, also, there's no such thing as a "bad batch", that would be extremely rare.

I would definitely let them steep for awhile w/o the caps, then smell and try again.

I can already tell that CLS, Frenilla, and Wakonda are starting to mellow out. Smelled them about an hour ago, and that strong odd smell is starting to dissipate. The coffee in Wakonda is becoming stronger too. I'm holding out hope :)

I just received two packages of Nicoticket, first order MOnday and 2nd order today. None I have tried so far have these issues, I have Virus, Wakonda, ACB and Strawnilla opened and have been vaping them all so far its just pure heaven. I haven't tried my order of CLS or betelguece yet I will let you know if they are like yours. I am using Istick with Mini Nautilus and also little volts (cigalikes) from smokeless image with their little clearomisers all are tasting just fine and both devices are very different.

There's not one thread about a particular juice vendor or flavor that doesn't have posts that ask about a "peculiar" smell or taste. I chalk this up to the fact that taste and smell are subjective- as has been repeated about ten thousand times. That said, IMO there's nothing wrong with asking what other people's opinions/experiences are, although in this case it may have been just a little premature.

Bottom line for me is there's every chance the juice is fine, just need additional steeping and that there's no actual problem. But as good as NT juice is, it's unreasonable to expect everyone to like every NT flavor! So, if a NT flavor isn't liked for whatever reason there's a thread for trading NT juice as well as a classified forum for selling/swapping.

Some reading that may help:

I have only tried CLS and Strawnilla so I can't comment on the other juices but I wasn't a big fan either. Even after letting them steep for a week. They weren't bad, they just weren't good enough to re-up. My personal taste enjoys O-Face by Beantown much more than Strawnilla. It has a fresh strawberry taste I don't get out of Stranilla.

Everyone's tastes are different though.

My Strawnilla smells really nice after letting air overnight. I have it loaded in a tank right now, just waiting for the wicks to soak. If I don't like it, I'm going to let it steep for a few more weeks. If I still don't like it, I'm probably going to try Dr. Crimmy's Strawberry Overdose. I'd like to try O Face, but my setup has trouble with higher VG juices.
