I have got every faith in you Ian,

Maybe it is something as simple as the seals though, cos if one or two are leaking surely it will cause problems with all the tank, ie juice going to where it shoudn`t go

To be honest, the juice shouldn't be travelling to the air intake section. The juice tank should be totally sealed off from the airflow and chimney section. I will suss it out though, the couple of draws when it worked were pretty good.

I know what you mean claire, they can be a bit of a handfull can`t they.
Just a bit! Love them to bits though :)

I love the vertical coil set-up to be honest, in an aga or an RSST - especially a cotton vertical wick.

They are the same Rockets from FT Terry & Claire. I got mine in a co-op buy on here though. The O-rings I've got coming are the red ones, they should have been installed at production but they put the thin white ones in by accident. This should improve the leaking at the tank seals.

I may have to fully strip the base down to find out what's going wrong. I can easily sort out the filling hole leak, just by blocking it off. The air-hole leak might be a bit harder to sort out though, but I won't be beaten by it. You know me Terry, all the hassle I had with the ithaka, I got it working great in the end

Another piece of advice, if you use the tiny standard coil screws, make sure you have a magnetic screwdriver, cos if the screws come out of their holes there's not a cat in hells chance of getting them back in by hand. You do get quite a few spares with the Rocket though. I guess I was hoping it would be as good out of the box as my KFL.

Don't worry though, the bugger won't beat me ;)
Keep us updated as you conquer it and I can copy then!

Is that the one with the knackered threads, that kept on shorting out batteries

Don't worry, just kidding. The k100 is a great mod to start with. If I remember correctly Terry sanded down the contacts on it too - makes a big difference.

If you get the aga sussed out, can you give Cody a few pointers
I'm impressed with the K100 so far, what have been missing out on all these months of vaping!
Cody will probably have it sussed before I do - i shall master it though'

Can I be in the gang now I've sorted my sig and avatar please Terry?

Night night all, eyes have gone blurry, time for sleep :)

I've just had an idea, maybe if I use silica next time instead. The cotton wicks that well, it may have sucked up too much juice, lowering the pressure too much in the juice tank, so it ends up being un-vapourized and drips down the air intake. That would explain the juice in the mouth. These type of attys work on internal pressure, that's why they shouldn't be over filled. I remember seeing a couple of posts on the KFL threads were people had flown with the KFL and the pressure difference caused problems. I bet that's got something to do with it.

I'm a genius I know :p

Yes you have made some nice choices there lisa, I myself am not to keen on the vertical wick tank`s though.

Uhhhhhhh, vertical wick tank? Vertical coils? What are you talking about?

Yeah but I had to move everything up a line to fit it all in

The pipe does look really good Lisa, when it's got a bit of age on it, it will look amazing. Brass is the only metal I know that looks better with a bit of ageing :D

I may sand it at some point.... not anytime soon - I was in the middle of laundry when the power went out before work, now I have to decide what to grab after work since I've no plans to cook before my shows :/ I usually get some cooking in before work, but impossible today with no power!

I've found this for vertical coils

I've never done these... do you see one of my toppers that has to have a vertical coil?

You don't have to do vertical coils Lisa, you can do a standard U shaped wick on your attys - as long as they have 2 wick holes. But to be honest, I prefer a vertical wick on the aga and the RSST. Any atty that can use ss mesh can have a vertical cotton or hemp wick and coil.

Will do mate. I think it really needs the proper red O-rings though to work properly. I need to redo my RSST and aga tomorrow too.

I don't know if this can help any of you, but it was posted in another thread:

I can tell you upfront you will love the brass Nemesis. I am also taking a serious liking to that cheapo Rocket tank. It works like a dream.

One hint: take the airflow adjustment screw OUT while you fill it and you will have zero problems with flooding or with getting the juice in the tank. You will need a juice bottle with a soft tip on it to seal against the fill hole and it gets real easy then. The Liqua bottles work perfect for this purpose. The only thing I don't like about it is that it whistles when I draw on it. It gets a little irritating sometimes

I have got the brass nemi in my wishlist already LOL,

As for the rocket, well there are so many different variations of building it; it wiil be down to the individual to find his or her own way.

Certainly a tip to remember though lisa...Thanks

Well i don`t believe it,

Hong kong post tracking is working at long last, It is saying item posted for delivery on the 7th and is being processed to be sent to the addressee. so this was shipped from F/T on the 19th of oct.

That means it has been sitting with h/k post for 19 days, "ridiculous"

That's just wrong mate, HK Post need a serious wake up call. If they keep on playing around like this they will lose a lot of custom :(
