I'd say go for it mate. Once you've done a few vertical coils their dead easy. In fact I can now do the aga or RSST quicker than a Nova or evod.

Yep, I have done them before ian but using mesh and i wasn`t a fan at all; but it probably was the mesh causing me all the problems.

I reckon one of the ATTY`S set up with 3mm ekowool and ribbon, would give a damn good vape and if the rocket is crap, at least i should have something to replace it.

I have been taking a peek at them atty`s on f/t they look really good for the price, I know i have said i don`t like the vertical set up`s but with the rave reviews it has; i may just pull the trigger.

Well at least it isn`t bloody H/K post, what a waste of time they are. F/T are now using singapore post for shipments to the uk, Which in my opinion are a hundred times better.

Well, Aga T2, what a mare, every single coil came up 9.9 ohms on mini zmax despite showing stable 2.5 on multimeter - after wasting loads of kanthal I decided to try on K100 - works perfect, coils glow beautiful from middle out, so must not be connecting to centre pink on zmax properly
Need another electrical or a fix so it contacts proper on this one.
Don't know whether to order from FT or not as may be waiting til New Year for order!

My order from Chinabuye has arrived and after 3 weeks my order with FT is now showing on tracking .... woohoo!

Anyway, from ChinaBuye I got an MVP, but in the meantime I bought an evic, which I quite like, so the MVP is not needed, I have a vv v3 coming from FT as my backup. If anyone wants a new MVP (v1, unused with an iclear30) drop me a message, I'll post it up in FS forum shortly.

I`m glad the k100 didn`t let you down As for ordering from F/T i think they have got there ship in order now they are using s/g post again. It`s usually only a couple of weeks to get your goodies.

Ian - i was reading elsewhere that there is a very recently released RBA that combines the best features of the Kayfun, Taifun & Ithaka. I'll see if i can find some more info for on it as you are bound to want it sooner or later

Even if I mess up a coil, I reuse the wire, Luv. As long as it's not crimped you can recoil it. And our AGA, she's a moody old girl, but when she's firing right, she's lovely =] I use a bit heavier wire on her and just replace the wick, the coil stays in shape so I don't have to recoil for her each time. Some mechs won't fire her up properly, so I keep her on a kicked Poldiac now, any lower hitting mech and the vape is weak. I think my K101 hits much harder than my other mechs, so I will test her today on the K101 unkicked.

EDIT: Yes, AGA T2's got a lovely vape on the K101. I'm glad you mentioned it, I've been using her with a kicked mech because I can't get her to fire up on a VV/VW and heat her up properly =]

Did u try the aga with the Pre-made FT coils Lisa? I had a go with one, but the resistance was too high so i need to unwrap a couple of coils on it and try again. Getting the wire trapped under the nuts drives me crazy though!

I have used it with the premade coils, but the flavor wasn't very good. I like vape with A LOT OF FLAVOR. It just seemed to be a weaker vape and I wasn't sire if that was because of the FastTech silica or the lighter gauge wire. I've got ekowool and 28gauge wire in it now, very nice =]

Well a little update on my orders,

The rocket is being processed for departure on th 11th, the chi you, kick and curved drip tip have been despatched to uk on the 9th, And i am just going to push the button on the brass nemesis, an I ATTY, and a mod stand.

I may as well get them now in case they decide to start using H/K post again, then that will be me done till after xmas.

I dont think he will stop unti he owns every possible vaping item! It seems only a month ago that he got a REO, which most people would be satisfied with.... oooh, it was only a month ago

Seriously though, i can understand the need to keep buying stuff... we have all proved we have addictive personalities because we were smokers so for a lot of us, we just transfer the addiction / obsession to something else! To be honest, its a blessing in disguise that i cant make coils properly yet or it would be encouraging me to buy more things too.

Hmmm. I love maximum flavour too Lisa. When i lowered the resistance of the coil on the trident it did improve, but you have a good point there... cheap silica and lighter wire could well mean i dont get the best out of it too.
