I was looking at the octopus before I ordered the Igo-L, I think it will be the next one I buy. Hear good things about it.

There is too much to consider!! :(

It just seems like that - the good news today is that there are plenty of really good devices, unlike in the dark ages when I started! :)

Glad it's working better for you. I get great flavour from the Igo-L. Have you tried the Octopus? It's very easy to recoil as it has holes in the posts for the wires to go through. You then just screw down the finger-tightenable screws (no screwdriver needed). Might be worth a shot - but the Igo-L is a very good rda imho.

I think i'll have to get the octopus too. I find it a real pain getting the wire trapped under nuts/screws so anything that negates that process gets my vote!

It was my first RDA and I learnt how to wrap coils with it. It is easier to recoil than the Igo-L, imho - just a bit less fiddly. You'll love it (but be warned, it's not small - and the top can slip off fairly easily).

I dont mind it being big, i'll probably get used to keeping the wires trapped down on other devices eventually too, but in the meantime the holes / slots in the screws just make my life that much easier.

Nice! Is it 22mm? is the drip tip the one it comes with?

It's actually a 23mm tank mate and the tip is a "long rip" tip.

I've just set it up with 30g kanthal 4 wraps, using the 2mm silica that came with it. Three strands of silica. Filled it up with some 18mg GVC luckily, with the 24mg it would have blown my head off. I'm already getting a nic buzz from the 18mg.

The taste with silica is absolutely amazing, plenty of vapour and a great TH too. I may have to add another coil wrap next time, I'm running it at 1.3ohms ....WOW :vapor:

I'd say it's as good as the KFL, which for me, is a massive compliment.

Took me longer to choose the battery tube than it did to set it up

I'll be having to do some major topper cleaning/coiling when I get off of work. Boge carto tank is gunked with cinnamon red hot, my Protanks are all burning, AGA T2 is barely heating up and can't be read on any VV/VW mod, and my Cobra Genesis won't fire on anything :/ I've turned to CE4s for my sweets and Boge carto tanks for a bit of a tobacco vape until I can get things sorted :/

Ian - Taifun looks wicked! Going green looking at it!

Terry - don't know what to order now, wait for reviews on Taifun clone or not, chance waiting ages for iAtty or not, ahh so much choice, I'm loving this Aga T2 now I've sussed her out, vapes amazing with microcoil and cotton - haven't touched my other tanks since I got her going sweet yesterday.

So, I have Rocket on the way, I like airy draw, not tight. I like organic cotton wicks and falling for microcoils big time - can someone please guide me or shall I just get another aga?

Well my first impressions of the rocket crap, first of all i binned the stock coil (always do) then built one out of 3mm silica, and .5 ribbon.

Undid the post screws and one of them came out, they are so so very tiny it took me half an hour just to get it back in. managed to get my coil in after a lot of fiddling, filled it up got a couple of nice vapes; then the gurgles started (mouthfull of apple pie).

Absolutely pi**ing out of the airflow screw. decided to unscrew the topcap, and it just emptied all over my jeans. Not a very happy bunny at the minute. In other news the kick works fantastic, i have got it in my chi you with my trident, and boy it is producing well.

I put it on its highest setting 10 watts, the trident has got a 1.6 ohm coil so you can imagine; Wonerfull. I am also liking the long curved drip tip, as it cools the vape down nicely.

Well thats my evening explained (really pi**ed about the rocket. But everything else is fine.

EDIT: well i have the atty coming, i may as well get the taifun now as well just in case i can`t get a fix for this pile of crap

Double edit: going off ian`s post i would go for the taifun claire.

It's well worth the money Claire honestly. But if you want something comparable, get a genuine KFL - you will need a lower nic juice in either of these two though. The KFL has a new version that's just come out, the KFL plus, it's a fair bit cheaper than the Taifun too.

Cancel the Rocket and get another aga ;)

I'll need to get my glasses and magnifier together, but do tell me what to look for to set this bugger :/ I just turned the screw and I haven't a clue how or what else to do... I didn't notice a mark saying START HERE AT 0 or what have you LOL I just gave it a twist, but I'd appreciate a bit of help so I can set mine properly as well. <3
