My first order from FT arrived today!

Already disappointed with the Igo-L, whether it's genuine or not I don't know.. But the vape is really poor. Maybe the coil it's pre-build with isn't adequate..

Mine came set up with dual coils that vaped well for about a month before they began to flag (they didn't pop but were starting to get "meh"). I have replaced them with a single coil with silica wick. Even better imho - very good vapour production.

As has mine, just barely getting any performance out of them. Barely any vapour, and the taste is extremely bland. What voltage were you vaping at? With FT advertising it as a 1.6ohm, I haven't tried above 4.3v yet.. Curious if thats the problem.

Don't want to start rebuilding yet until I have a PV that can read ohms, skint until the end of the month now :(

What device are you vaping it on? I vape mine on a Vamo with no problems (always align the air-hole on the Igo-L cap with the coil).

I read the ohms of my coil and then add two volts. It works for me as a rule of thumb.

What liquid are you using? I've found I get less vape with high PG juices.

Overfilling will give bad results. If the wick is wet that's enough - no need to give it a bath!

Todays update.

My Taifun GT and all the spare parts arrived today :rickroll:

I'll be slapping a coil on it very soon. Really impressed with the delivery time - ordered on the 10th, shipped from Poland in 4 days. FT could learn a thing or 2 from these people ;)

I've been looking at the FT clone of the Taifun, the differences I can see so far are the logos and it looks like the FT ones don't have the retractable lip on the catch cup. I've only had a quick peep at the FT one though, so I could be wrong about the lip.

Right, off to set up my new toy :D

Vision Spinner

I'm using PG based liquids, mainly 70/30, also have some 60/40's. Do I need to give it a wash when I want to drip a different liquid? Or does it just take the old flavor away when dripping a new one in there?

I'd try something with a little more VG. As for washing it - well, I don't, but that doesn't make me right. If you were using something very powerful like menthol then you might want to vape a little straight vg in it to remove the flavour.

The airhole alignment really makes a difference, too.

Just tried some 60/40 Black Gold from JJ, much better. After aligning the airhole with the coil (I think), vapor production was improved. Still not sure about the taste, but that might just be the juice... I was never keen on trying the Black Gold after having a good smell of it :D

cody someone has started a new thread, without the link. (you were talking abou xmas juices) Cinnamon Coffee Cake Flavoured E-Liquid

I've just been looking at that website. They have a very wide selection of juices and i can already spy half a dozen i would like to try. Old English marmalade sounds nice as does the glazed chocolate donut, and how could i forget about mince pies as a christmas flavour - i love mince pies! :)

I had the same problem with the trident i got from FT - not too good with the dual coils it arrived with, but after swapping them out for a single coil with ekowool it was much better.

Glad it's working better for you. I get great flavour from the Igo-L. Have you tried the Octopus? It's very easy to recoil as it has holes in the posts for the wires to go through. You then just screw down the finger-tightenable screws (no screwdriver needed). Might be worth a shot - but the Igo-L is a very good rda imho.

I was looking at the octopus before I ordered the Igo-L, I think it will be the next one I buy. Hear good things about it.

There is too much to consider!! :(

Well the taifun is already ahead of the KFL in your signature so i'm assuming it's pretty good ;)
