I've just shown that to the other half and told him in no uncertain terms that I will not marry him unless he turns my vamo into that!
Bloody gorgeous it is!

Check the comments at the bottom of that website and email <info@Simply-mods-Creations.be> to buy the kit if the fiance can't fabricate the parts. I've already been in touch with my friend and he knows of the maker and read the threads when he was discussing the building of these =] he's ready to get to it, so I'm waiting to verify his address and then ordering the kit & having it mailed directly to him =] Ahem, TWO kits, one for me and one for him :p

Isn't that the idea behind the VTR?

I thought exactly the same thing :p But, the gentleman who is making these Vamo S parts has actually been working on them for quite awhile according to a friend of mine.

I've finally got my AGA T2 working :/ The eVic read 1.7oHm and then saw atomizer short - the 32gauge wire snapped at a hot spot, adjusted and saw atomizer short, recoiled with a 1.4oHm fired and saw atomizer short - the 32 gauge wire snapped again, recoiled and saw atomizer short again and again, and then finally I switched to 28gauge wire and coiled a 1.0oHm that STAYED and didn't get a short :/ I've got her on my unkicked Poldiac and she's okay... she's not an iATTY vape, but she's okay =]

I did notice that if I see No Atomizer Found and I unscrew the topper and then slowly screw it down while watching the screen, the eVic will actually show suboHm coils readings... I saw 0.7oHm and 0.9oHm, so I am grateful to catch that even though I am no cloud chasing suboHmer.

I've been recoiling a couple of Protank atty heads with a braided cotton... I've taken a few apart that were NASTY, NASTY, NASTY! One had short curled legs and the other had the leg stuck in the base, so I need to find a video to see what's suggested.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RobaPl1QXKU

Bwahahahahaha! Magnificent new Kanger coiled heads made!!!!

I received my mini Protanks and replacement body. They are quite lovely on the EVOD and eGo batteries =]

My package with the Kamry eCab was returned to FastTach :'(

Now that I've got a good number of mods in the stand it's stable. It's just the first few that tip it over. I've got enough extra spaces to put some batteries in the slots so that when I have to recharge a battery from a rotating mod, I've got a spare right up front =] I'm quite happy with it now <3

Looks like I should be ok then Lisa. With all the gear I've got, I'll probably have to put wheels on my stand cos it will be too heavy to lift

I have got all my mods lined up on a bookshelf and i have knocked 1 or 2 off a few times lol. It is ok when they fall off the front, i just need to pick it up; but if any fall down the back it means i have to move all the furniture to pull the bookshelf out which is absolutely full.

If you find any money down the back of the bookshelf it's mine mate. I lost a few pound coins, last time I was round at your house

Where to put stuff? In this modern age of getting more & more stuff the big problem is where to put it all.

The hardest thing to do is discard stuff, even though it may not be stuff that you like or even see a use for in the future.

Space & stuff. This problem is only going to get bigger if we want people to continue to buy stuff. We'll just have to make desirable things smaller.

And there, in a nutshell, is the business model for the last 10 years. :)

Myself and the Wife are currently going through 15 years worth of accumulated stuff. So far I've taken 4 car loads of stuff to the local tip. The spare bedroom just used to be a junk room, I'm hoping that very soon we'll have another usable room again.

That's great news Lisa, that you've got the girl up and running again. If you want a fantastic vape out of the aga, try doing a cotton wick - I'm sure you'll be impressed with it

well this afternoon my hypertank really started playing up, gurgling flooding etc. it has only started since i made new coils yesterday using the ribbon wire :p so i am just going to make a new one with 32 gauge, and see if that solves it.

Have you checked the seals properly mate, to make sure they've not become unseated or damaged when you recoiled the head ?? The ribbon might not be causing the flooding.

I've ordered a couple of rubber eGo stands so that I can place my eGos along with the other mods =] I ended up getting them stateside to cut the wait-time since I did not want the multi-colored pack from FastTech even though it was at a magnificent price. I did see a good price on the T3s, which I got on a fluke to get free shipping and ADORE!!! They are discontinued because the atomizers are discontinued, BUT I can recoil them myself, so good savings for me!

I've spent the day trimming up the pup... it's a chore which my arthritis, but I can't wait another week for an appointment :/ She doesn't look half bad and she's sooooooooo much more comfortable =]

My vape funk is officially OVER! I've got Cinnamon Red Hot, Zebra Striped Gum, Green Apple, Melon, Frankenvape, Blue Moo, and who know what's in the Cobra and the AGA T2... a mixture of peach, pear, apple, pineapple =]

I've got one Protank clone that has leaked since I received it :/ It came with the group that was crushed in transit https://www.fasttech.com/p/1460301 I regret them now because they are 'Protank STYLE' and apt to be total crap if this one is any indication :/ I've not traded out parts with any of the other pieces, but I may end up doing that to see if perhaps it's the seals... if this package gets returned because of the 501 battery for the hubby, then I will ask for a refund on them :/

Oh, by the way, I've figured out how to PREVENT the loss of small screws, washers, o-rings, and nuts =] I've begun slipping thewashers, nuts, and o-rings on a bread tie and then I twist the ends and put the tie in a glass bottle that some flavoring came in =]

It`s fine now ian,

I just did 2 heads using the 32 awg, and it is running great again. I remember a while back i did some evod heads with the ribbon and got exactly the same result. Don`t ask me why, i just don`t think they like the ribbon wire for some reason.

Top tip there Lisa, with the bread tie. It's surprising some of the fixes you can come up with for vape gear, if you really think about the problem. My current storage solution for tanks that need cleaning, came from a similar "eureka" moment. My step-son is always getting Chinese takeaways in plastic cartons (that he normally throws away). Their great for holding my dirty tanks as well as full tanks that I want to keep upright - I just stand them up in the corner of the carton - simple

As long as you've sussed it out mate, that's the main thing. Maybe the ribbon is better suited to a longer wick set-up, than the short ones in a bottom coil device.

its not so bad, i had an issue with hong kong post holding an order (no batteries, no eliquid) for over a week. not really fasttech issue, but annoying and part of the package when you deal with overseas orders. they switched to singapore post, maybe it will be better? no experience with that yet. i have the vamo v5, and paid just under double the FT price, so definitely a good deal. I picked up an aga-t2 and a few drip tips from them and have had no issues with the actual product.

Anyone else having problems with the sing post tracking site again today.

I'm having to use Track Shipment(s) to track my FT parcels.

Hopefully, the kayfun clone will get posted off tomorrow, along with the fogger, it's getting close to the expected shipping date now.

Well so far, my orders with sing post have arrived a lot quicker than the couple of orders that came by HK post. I don't know if it makes any difference to USA orders, but for us in the UK, Sing Post tends to be a lot better. Keep us updated, with how you get on with the new toys :D

Well this is really weirding me out right now, ran great for about 5 minutes then something started happening. mech cutting off after about a 3 second draw, never come across anything like this before.:p

The tracking has been playing up for a few days now mate, 1 minute it`s fine, then later even refreshing won`t work.

Find that a lot smoother to use actually. Never knew it existed, so cheers for the link :)

Still yet to receive my second order from FT, was shipped 2 days after my first and no tracking updated since the first status back on the 5th. :(

Maybe it's the mechs contact post mate. Might only just be making contact, so it's only giving you a 3 second draw. Or possibly the pos post on the atty needs a bit of tweeking for contact.

Think I'm just gonna use the other tracking site from now on, always gives me a result :)

No problem mate.

I bet they just put it through the x ray and thought the toppers look like a battery shape so returned them to FT. Everything seems really hit and miss at the moment still. I reckon they're not x raying all parcels too, that's why some people are still getting their shipments with batteries only and some aren't. It's a shame, because I have some 14500s on my wishlist, but I'll probably buy them from the UK instead - less hassle.
