Maybe it's the mechs contact post mate. Might only just be making contact, so it's only giving you a 3 second draw. Or possibly the pos post on the atty needs a bit of tweeking for contact.

Think I'm just gonna use the other tracking site from now on, always gives me a result :)

No problem mate.

You'll find that with FT, some orders are lightning quick, others really seem to drag.

I bet they just put it through the x ray and thought the toppers look like a battery shape so returned them to FT. Everything seems really hit and miss at the moment still. I reckon they're not x raying all parcels too, that's why some people are still getting their shipments with batteries only and some aren't. It's a shame, because I have some 14500s on my wishlist, but I'll probably buy them from the UK instead - less hassle.

well i have stripped everything down to bare bones Ian re-tightened, checked connection`s etc etc. That seem`s to have stopped the cut off, but still gurgling away like mad  It`s strange for sure.

Mmmm that is a weird one. To be honest though, I don't mind a bit of gurgling cos it annoys the Wife.

The KFL gurgles, so does the Taifun, guess I've got used to it. I'd be more worried now if they didn't gurgle a bit ;)

Anyway, I'm gonna sign off for the night and get some sleep, still not caught up from the 3 hours I finally got on Saturday night :(

Oh well 4 days off this weekend, but I do have to paint the bathroom, so make that 2 days off

Mmmmmmmmmmm, I've just had the Poldiac completely stop working after I'd changed the battery... Tried flat top batteries finally, which is what I'd removed :/ Nothing worked, so I put it into a slot and began my hunt... Tried this and that and finally picked up the Natural. Believe it or not, the Natural, which I've had for ages, but never used because I hate the bottom button, fires up the AGA T2 like no other mod!!!! OMG! Warm and flavorful vape from the AGA T2!!!! What a nice thing to find out!

I'm really considering putting a bit of nail polish or some colored tape on my topper/mods to know what works magnificently with what :/

EDIT: I'd bought some cheap iPhone carbon fiber for my mods from Amazon.com, a package of 5 for a few dollars. There is one strip with little circles punched out as well as some long thin strips of red, blue, black, white, and gold carbon fiber. I just took GOLD dots for the AGA T2 and the same dots for the mods that fire up the AGA T2 the best, the Cobra got RED dot and the M6 got a WHITE dot :p The rest of my toppers in rotation are Protanks, Hypertank, Boge carto tank, and the MT3, which work with most anything =] i do have some little 'jewels' coming in that I intended to glue onto one of my mods for a funky/flashy look, so I make consider putting a ring of colored gems on my mods later LOLOLOL

I am SO CONFUSED! A battery gets through and the Kamry or battery casing and some toppers get returned?

I am SO CONFUSED! with you, does not make any sense.

The first order, the eCab could "LOOK" like a battery, but the 2nd order is just toppers, no idea there.

Well so far, my orders with sing post have arrived a lot quicker than the couple of orders that came by HK post. I don't know if it makes any difference to USA orders, but for us in the UK, Sing Post tends to be a lot better. Keep us updated, with how you get on with the new toys :D

I've been working with the aga-t2 for the weekend and for $12 its a steal, worth quite a bit more in my opinion. I tried ekowool and it couldn' quite keep up, used ss rope wick and liked it, but then disassembled and put in unoxidized ss mesh and used the pulse method, and by far my favorite, i drilled the air hole to 1/16'' and it just dumps vapor, fantastic flavor. Definately worth waiting 1.5 weeks for lol

good night mate,

Nope still flooding like hell this, as you said gurgling i can live with but when it turn`s into flooding Hmmm. all i can try to do now is put an evod head in and see if that works.

If it doesn`t work well at least i have the rocket mmm mmm mmm still rocking :headbang:

well i got it sorted today, all i did was place a flavour wick on top of the coil and problem solved. I have never had to do that before:p

The only thing i can think of is, cos i am using the kick at around 8 watts the wick just couldn`t keep up. I may be wrong but it definately was a wicking issue.

I see a perfect opportunity here...

What is a FLAVOR WICK? I have seen it mentioned again and again and I have yet to determine what it is :/

Okay,

When you make a coil for lets say, your protank! You have wrapped a coil around 3 mm silica. All you do is, when you have fitted the coil to the head, is place another piece of wick over the coil. It can be 1 2 or in my case 3mm, so in theory now i have a 6mm silica wick.

I have read that for some the flavor wick mutes the flavor, and others say it improves it. I can't seem to tell a difference either way, but for wicking issues its stands to reason it would help.

I use 2 mm wick with 1.8 coil, no flavor wick. No leaks or dry hits, but occasionally I get a pop of juice in the mouth. I guess the flavor wick would prevent this too, but it doesn't bother me

Well just to throw something else into the pot. When I've re-wicked my evods in the past, I've had to use a bit of ekowool as a flavour wick in some of them, but not in others. My builds in each one have been the same - micro coils with cotton at 1.5 ohms. It's weird how some of the toppers need the flavour wick while others don't

Even when I've re-done them with silica wicks, exactly the same outcome - some need the extra wicking some don't. Very strange.

Pictures please Lisa ;) show us your sparkly, pimped up mods

Glad you've finally got the aga sorted. Sometimes the most troublesome toppers, end up being the better vape once you've had a play with them :D

Do you have one from a USA source to compare it with mate ??

I'm just wondering if the FT aga has interchangeable parts with other aga models.

You want to try the aga with a vertical cotton wick, this is my favourite set-up on this device, massive flavour and vapour. Better still with ribbon kanthal

Well I finally got tired of swapping out the 350's in the bagua/taifun combo. So I've swapped out the bagua tube with a spare caravela tube that I got with the bagua. At least now I can run it in 650 mode.

I'll see how many 18650s I can get through per fill up now ;)

I'm a nail tech Lisa and I've been seriously debating covering my toppers and possibly the vamo in Swarovski crystals..........

+1 for vertical cotton wick on aga t2, not stopped vaping it since I got it going great guns with a 12 wrap 1.8 micro coil with vertical cotton wick - best vape to date and easy peasy to swap wick out when it gets gunked.

Oh yeah - TVS has arrived, woo hoo! My toppers are still sat in HK though :(

Cotton wicks rock Claire

Have you tried out the TVS yet ??

What size micro-coils do you normally do. I normally do a 1.5mm micro, but to be honest, I prefer a 2.0mm mini coil for the aga and RSST. The 1.5mm coil seems to take twice as long to build for some reason, it always seems to take longer to get the wraps all touching properly (I do roll them on drill bits though).

I tried 2mm mini at first, then a 1.5, then settled on 1.7 with 30ga kanthal wire, flame wire, 13 wraps, undo 1st, slide off drill shank, compress lightly with pliers and flame, then back onto the shank to hook up - best vape to date!
Gonna have to try a horizontal u wick soon just out of curiosity!

The TVS, oh my, weighty little beaut! She's my mod of choice, may change over coming days, but for now, it's lust at first kick :)

It is strange ian, the only thing i can think is that the stock heads come with a flavour wick installed; and when i re-built mine with none it was causing the flooding.

Don`t tell Ian you do nails claire, he will be round like a shot for a polish  (glad you are enjoying your TVS) Just don`t drop it on your toe. :)

Just noticed your siggy claire, the tvs is all brass not chrome. (just thought i would let you know)

Hey all, just back from a few days working in London. My IBTanked carto tank is here (yeeey) but my vapology flavours are not (boooo). I havent had chance to pop the IBTank on yet, but i have been using Vapists creamy custard in the smok carto tank and the trident from FT and it is so much nicer than in the protank (far too weak).

I didnt want to risk carting the provari around with me in London so took my evic because i wouldnt have been as bothered if i lost it and quite a few people were asking about it. My friend who smokes sheesha a lot thought it was much more like sheesha than a cigarette, which is right really in how you hold it, draw on it, and the flavours too.

Cody, please tell us when you get the IBTanked in operation and on what mod you are getting the best vape with. I really adore the metal capped glass tanks and I've ruined my silver one with over cleaning :/ Still searching for another, but refill options on a carto glass tank are very limited :/ I do have a sidewinder pyrex tank, but need replacement metal caps ;/
