I've been receiving packages from FastTech regularly, BUT not the packages that I REALLY WANT with the toppers in them :/ Am I evil for being irritated? I almost put in a ticket for the package ordered 10/27 that has a shipping status of NOT FOUND :/ When I pull it up it says SHIPPED 11/14!!!! Argh!!

I mentioned previously that I was able to make my own Protank atomizer coils. The Protank atomizer head I just tested ended up being 0.11 oHm and shorted immediately XD BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD! At least I have an oHm checker now, so I can check the heads as soon as I've built them and adjust as needed.

When walking the pup, I found a slip in the mailbox, so there's a package at the post office. I am not sure if it is a test run for a Chinese company I bought some items from on eBay or if it's my FastTech order that's had a status of NOT FOUND for 3 weeks :/

My 3 pack eGo set, 650mAh/900mAh/1100mAh at https://www.fasttech.com/p/1422612 arrived a bit age and I've just tried the 900mAh battery. It's a bit hinky... You screw ANY topper down and it fires by itself :/ Unscrew 1/2 turn and it's fine... I'm setting it aside and may just include it with the dead batteries I need to dispose of.

I've been rebuilding pro tanks lately too. That ohm checker from FT really comes in handy . I've also been using the N-R-N prebuilt wire. I like a 1.8 ohm coil so thats what I got when I ordered. The reason I do it like this is sometimes (when I used just resistance wire) I would get an awful burned taste. I found out the grommet that holds the wire would get scorched, and that was what I was tasting (eewww). Anyway, glad you got one. It will really help.

Man, those pro tank coils are small aren't they?!. It doesn't help either, with what the Doc called "old eyes". I just told him to give me my glasses lol . Seems they can be a bit finicky, but I like to tinker anyway. It's a more 'satisfying' vape when you can 'do it yourself' isn't it?

Kinda hope that package you got is your FT order. I know how frustrating thats been. I had an order of juice got here yesterday (swiss post, FT. Only 23 days! LOL), and of course I wasn't here to sign for it. Got a notice. Off to the posty tomorrow

Hope you enjoy the SVD. Oh by the way, in the instruction booklet I got with mine it said to insert the battery with the negative pole facing upwards, obviously this is a mis-print (the battery would be the wrong way round). Just thought I'd mention it in case you get the same instructions I got.

Well I've just seen the Kayfun on chinabuye Terry, don't know if it's in stock or not though. Plus VB have the Taifun, but their out of stock too

0.11 ohms, bloody hell Lisa, did you only do one coil wrap You don't seem to be having a lot of luck at the moment, with the self firing battery too. It sounds like there's a short on the wiring for the firing button to me - try hitting it with a hammer, probably won't fix it, but you'll feel better afterwards

I use those pre-made coils myself for my ithaka clone. I just adjust the coil spacing a little bit and they work just fine - a lot cheaper than buying a wire splicer, plus less hassle.

You do get a warm fuzzy feeling building your own coils. In fact, I'll spend a lot more time perfecting a home made set-up, whereas a pre-made one would just get thrown away

Had a couple of protank coils go like that it turned out to be where i cut the leg off after inserting groomet and pin.
A small piece was still sticking out giving a short. Now i just push it in with fingernail.
Also dryburn to make sure only the coil is glowing and not down the legs to the grommet.

I've got the kraken in my wishlist too. But I want to wait and see what the Fogger and the Kayfun clones are like first. If their almost as good as the genuine stuff, I'll carry on buying clones next year. If their a load of hassle, I'll just save a bit and buy more genuine Kayfun's and Taifun's instead. I do like the look of the "Rose" atty by eden mods - vapist is supposed to be getting some soon, must admit I'm tempted

Yea I have had good "Luck" with my FT orders so far, only one with a problem was my first on 9/7, took a long time, but other than that, less than 2 weeks on the other 9 orders I have placed.

Thanks for the battery tip, but I would have "Not Read" the instructions (Man Thing) and put + up anyway.

I was waiting for my order to ship. I was only waiting for one more item to become "Ready To Ship". It was an ohm meter. I figured, 'Okay, I'll cancel this ohm meter, my order will ship on Monday and I'll spend the extra $5 and get an ohm meter on ebay in the mean time'.

Welp, I didn't know that canceling one item, restocks everything on your order. Basically putting me to the end of the line for every item on my order. Although I had already waited for 4-5 things to come in stock and have my name put on them, they got removed from my order and put back into Inventory for the next person in line.

Was kinda ticked off. They put that "Cancel item" button right there. I figured people did it all the time if it was taking a long time for that last item to come in stock.

I guess moral of the story is, if you're gonna order from FT: Order everything separately based on if they are in stock or not. Almost to the point where order every item that's not in stock separate so if they come in soon they will ship soon, or if they come in late they won't hold up your entire order. And also, only order if you have no problem waiting a long time lol.

I took the quick route and canceled everything and ordered on eBay. I paid about $40 extra to mark-ups so I would not wait. $40 to not wait 1+ months isn't any sweat off my back. Original order: Nemesis, kraken, trident, i2, and an ohm meter. ~$80 on FT. ~$120 on ebay.

To be fair, I placed that order to test the waters so to speak. 1) to see if juice would/could ship, and 2) to see how long this option would take.
Best part? I got five more bottles of my fav (for the moment ), and answers lol. Not to mention the free 'steeping' haha.

Thanks for this. I've actually had that happen to me before. Funny thing is, I keep forgetting to check this until of course...I have a short lol. I HAVE gotten into the habit of firing up the coil, and checking it before I put the stem + gasket back on though. Maybe I'll give it another go with the plain ole resistance wire, and save the N-R-N stuff for the Ithaka

Yea, kinda funny how things work out there sometimes (FT). I still like them though. I just take into account what I'm ordering, and weigh in the options (price, shipping time, etc.) then make my purchases accordingly.

The difference you paid wouldn't break me down either. I still order from my favorite venders state side. Been eyeing some things on ebay too. Just depends on my mood ( and my budget)

Off topic (a little ). This bathroom thing must be catching! I just got back from lowes hardware with a brand new "soaking tub" haha. Complete with all the amenities (stainless/brushed nickel faucet/spray wand, drain kit, etc.) LOL. Seems the little lady (my other half) "doesn't like the tub" we have right now . I can't blame her though. (I don't like that tub either). So.....looks like I'm on the 'Honey do' list for the next few days or so. Yes, its thanksgiving time here, but "is there any better time?" (thats what SHE said LOL) I don't mind though. She does deserve it. After all "If Mama ain't happy,...." you know the rest!
