Yea, kinda funny how things work out there sometimes (FT). I still like them though. I just take into account what I'm ordering, and weigh in the options (price, shipping time, etc.) then make my purchases accordingly.

The difference you paid wouldn't break me down either. I still order from my favorite venders state side. Been eyeing some things on ebay too. Just depends on my mood ( and my budget)

Off topic (a little ). This bathroom thing must be catching! I just got back from lowes hardware with a brand new "soaking tub" haha. Complete with all the amenities (stainless/brushed nickel faucet/spray wand, drain kit, etc.) LOL. Seems the little lady (my other half) "doesn't like the tub" we have right now . I can't blame her though. (I don't like that tub either). So.....looks like I'm on the 'Honey do' list for the next few days or so. Yes, its thanksgiving time here, but "is there any better time?" (thats what SHE said LOL) I don't mind though. She does deserve it. After all "If Mama ain't happy,...." you know the rest!

edit: we DO have another bath for the holidays. This is for 'her' bathroom lol

That link does look nice. I wouldn't be surprised if FT offers them soon. They should. They would sell a boat load of 'em.

I do like the one I've got. I would probably like the one in the link better. The one that segelei (8w) has is ego threaded. It was a good idea for me as I have ego threaded stuff that I still like to use, and I can put the other bits I have on it as well.

Some don't like the firing button on these, but I do. I did tame the spring down though (by replacing it with a softer one) making it easier to use (for me)

Yea I have had good "Luck" with my FT orders so far, only one with a problem was my first on 9/7, took a long time, but other than that, less than 2 weeks on the other 9 orders I have placed.

You must have a big place then mate, more than one bathroom. We've got an extra "cloakroom" - basically a downstairs toilet, but it's always full of junk so never gets used. The closest thing we have to a second bath, is the tin tub outside full of rainwater

I'm definitely on my way over now. I used to be a really keen angler, got loads of fishing gear in the shed. But unfortunately I've not had time the last couple of years. Next year I will be getting my rods out though
I normally get to my favourite lake about 4am (in the summer) so I'm all set up and ready to go at first light. Then I'll stay until I either run out of bait, food, drink or I fall asleep and end up in the water

I'm of the mind that since FastTech is basically a go-between company, the middleman as it were, everything that FastTech sells is from a company that either MADE the original or a company that is racing to make a COPY OF THE ORIGINAL. Whether a package comes out the front door or the back door, a $10 co-op and the $10 FastTech product becomes $100 product in a B&M store.
