Paul, I've seen a video on you-tube about joining the wires, only problem was it was in German
I reckon I could probably do it anyway, I'm a fisherman so pretty good with knots.
No mod building just yet Terry, at the moment the design is just in my head, it will probably stay there for a while. But I do want a skull on it with red eyes that light up when you press the fire button
Anyway guys, time for another update.
Filled the x9 Protank clone with some DIY raspberry and cream. This juice is quite subtle tasting, it tastes great in my Vmod, but it's a bit too weak in an Evod - even with a cotton wick. Stuck the x9 on the KTS+, looks really good. Started vaping, all I can say is WOW. The flavour is amazing, even better than the Vmod, loads of vapour and a good nic hit. To be honest, I prefer the vape on the x9 more than with a genuine Protank. The draw is tighter, cos there's no air channels on the x9. This thing hits like a train, can't wait to get my drippers now, we can send each other smoke signals Terry
As long as there's no leaks with the x9, I'll be really happy. It gurgles like a Protank too.

ok can anyone tell me what all this no resistance wire thing is about ? why do you need both when building coils in certain tanks.
It has left me scratching my head.
i.e you don`t need the no res wire in kangers or vivi`s, so why in the oddyseus.

You know i may invest in the x9,dead cheap. I gave my genuine protank to my son, i didn`t like it cos of the airyness, but if the x9 is a tighter draw, well sounds good. God, sommat else to add to my wishlist. And you say i am a bad influence

What i would like to know is, why do you need no resistance wire ?
With my small electronics knowledge i would suspect that it should not heat up in the same manner as the kanthal wire. Would keep things a little cooler where the heat is not needed and all the heat is concerntrated in the coil? If anybody else knows better please chime in.
