Not sure about the picture now. I am over 10 orders and before I could "Clearly See MY Name and address", now it is blurry on both orders. I downloaded the pictures and zoomed in and I would bet money these are not pictures of my packages. I enhanced them the best I could and the address lines are just wrong. Where the name is there is a middle initial, but I don't use mine. At the bottom of all the other packages for my address it also had "United States of America", no way the blur says that. JMHO they are giving us fake pictures to make us think the packages are packed and shipped. I have gotten all my previous orders fine, less than 2 weeks except for the first one, but why post a blurry picture when previous orders had a clear picture that you could see your name and address? I got a bad feeling, glad they are both small orders, just over $20 each. I checked and my SVD had a blurry picture and it came in 10 or 11 days I think. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hopefully it's just a case that they've uploaded the wrong picture for your order. Or you may end up getting a $200 order when yours was just for $20

Most of my parcel pictures have been blurry too, but I can still just about make out that their addressed right. Might be an idea to open a ticket with them just to check, you could always say that you're a bit worried that they might be sending you someone elses order by accident.

Anyway, it's time I hit the hay. 1.40am over here and I've managed to blag an earlier start at work rather than the late shift I was supposed to be doing.

Atleast FT is not Chinabuye now that's a bad seller. I do find it curious they take pics of your orders doesn't actually mean they have sent them will be interesting to time some orders made same day using different carriers Swedish Post, Malaysia Post, Singapore Post and ChinaPost

Terry's covered it by the looks of things. All I will say is, I'm on about order 20 or so from them - in fact most of us on this thread have ordered multiple times. But as Terry says, don't expect your stuff quickly, it can take anything from 2-6 weeks to arrive. Most of my orders have been about 3-4 weeks though.



It is a struggle to get 3mm eko through a 3mm coil mate.

With the cotton just roll out a piece to roughly the right thickness. Make sure the end that will pass through the coil is tapered to a point. moisten the cotton with a bit of saliva too, so it keeps it's shape when your passing it through the coil. Try and break the cotton ball with the direction of the fibres, when your first rolling your piece. If you go against the fibres it will just fall apart, also try to twist the cotton so it holds together better. You want it fairly compact for inserting through the coil, but make sure it isn't too thick. It should pass through the coil and just hold in place. If the cotton will fall out of the coil, it's not thick enough. If the cotton is difficult to thread through the coil, it's too thick. Same as the ekowool, you want it almost touching the bottom of the tank. Then trim off the top of the wick so it's about 2-3mm above the top of the coil (you don't want the top of the wick to be any higher than the top of the positive post).

You just need to make sure that your coil is still perfectly vertical by popping the drillbit in before you insert the new wick. It sounds like the ekowool wasn't wicking enough, if you were getting dry hits. Once you've perfected cotton, you'll never get a dry hit again.

I don't have any cotton balls, but I was impressed with your reaction, Terry XD I'll have to pick up some cotton balls and see what you've got going on there. I have several toppers that came with a vertical mesh coil, so I believe you instructions will suffice =]

I'm not seeing much movement in any of my remaining packages... they all say 'Information Received (This is not an acknowledgment of the physical receipt of the stated Registered Article)' except for the Caravella, which has been waiting to be filled since 11/25. I just hope my things get out the door before they shut down for the holidays for a month.

Well my battery spacers arrived today, fantastic little things working great on my flat tops Just waiting for the kraken to ship now, then that will be all my orders en route.

Went to fill the I atty earlier, and i got liquid everywhere It was as if there was an airlock stopping the liquid entering the tank ?

I did manage to fill it, but it got very messy; anyone got any ideas ? first i tried a needle nosed dropper bottle, then a syringe.

I was surprised myself how good the cotton is compared to silica and ekowool. Bet you'll be doing all your toppers now with cotton

Lisa, once you've tried cotton there's no going back to silica, it's a bit fiddly to set up, but well worth it. Plus you can easily change out the cotton when it gets gunked up without replacing the coil as well.

Today's update.

Finished my semi-late today, got home at 9pm. Card from RM for attempted delivery of 2 items. One is a signed for the other is just a parcel. Haven't got a clue which 2 orders it will be. Could be from FT or triphammer or Amazon. I won't be able to sleep tonight with excitement

Got home from work and had two parcels waiting from ft.
My rocket has arrived and i was straight to work on it.
Microcoil and cotton came out at 1.7 ohm it was a bit higher than i wanted but good enough.
Vapes great but the terminal screws are too small on the heads so will have to find replacements.
The only other thing is the whistle i expected all the dogs in the town turning up.
Have now fixed that by rolling a small piece of 400mesh and inserting into airflow hole to disrupt it.
The draw is very slightly tighter but now silent.
It is a thirsty beast went through a whole tank tonight.
Overall very happy with it.

The other parcel had the aios in i will let you know how this is when the chi turns up.
First impressions are it is built well i can tell you that the threading onto the mod is the same size as a vamo extension tube as i screwed it on this to stop it falling over.

Yeah i had the coils set up perfect, it was just that the silica was burning and tasted awfull and i coudn`t get the ekowool in so i remembered i had promised myself to try cotton. And now was the logical time to do it, I remembered all your advice from previous posts; went ahead with it and as you said Ian "night and day" and yes i don`t think i will bother with silica again now.

That is a thing i didn`t know mate, I got bloody covered in juice. I didn`t know where it was coming from at first, i thought the tank may have cracked. But on closer inspection i could see it just wasn`t accepting liquid into the fill hole I am a dozy git mate, although i was a bit tired at the time.

Whatever you do Daz, be careful with the Rocket screws. If you take them all the way out, you'll either need a magnetic screwdriver or half an hour of fiddling to get them back in I swapped mine out for some spare screws I had lying around that have a better head size on them, made a big difference. I think Terry took the airflow screw out completely on his Rocket. I've still not tried mine yet after the first time I tried it and it leaked like a sieve

Just take out the wick, dry burn the coil, stick in some fresh cotton and away you go. You'll probably notice the flavour dropping off a bit when it's time to change the cotton.

Yes daz i took the airflow screw completely out, never used it! no whistles, and yeah they are a real greedy bugger aint they LOL.

Cheers Ian, It really is an eye opener isn`t it ! I never thought ekowool would be beat for flavour but how wrong was i Luckily enough i have only got about 6 inches of silica left, so that can go in the bin now. Oh and the lovely scruptious clouds it produces, mustn`t forget that.

im looking for info on ordering from fast tech- looking to order a mod and a couple of tanks anyone got any advice? good stuff? good shipping? ( not ordering any batteries )

I've only been vaping a few weeks and been hit by chinaitis my first FT order was a GG Ithaka (ToBeCo I think) clone I had only used ProTanks and iClears before the best vape money I ever spent! For a clone it's very well made, finished and vapes like candy floss after my first poor build and vape I was going to take a hammer to the Kangers they are poor. I use it everyday now as my main tank even when I am out and about. Needless to say be aware you may form a FT addiction it can be so rewarding you will never go back unless you win the lottery! Just waiting now for my Dragon Vapemail can't wait for the KF 3.1, KFLs and Taifun GT clones atleast if anything unless you are flush you can try before you buy. Here in the UK we are over populated by crappy pop-up, profiteering, here today gone tomorrow shops but such is life!
