So how does the fogger vape lisa? Ian seems to be having a few issues setting it up, Although i have every confidence in him getting it right:)

The Fogger had mesh already installed in it with a silica center. I pulled it apart and placed a braided cotton center in it. I vaped about 4 tanks of Cinnamon Red Hot and tobacco total before she just stopped letting me draw a vape from her. I took her apart tonight, wire and mesh were coated with a THICK BURNED MESS and the braided cotton center was totally black. I torched the same wire and mesh and rolled up part of a cotton ball wick and she's back to vaping fine. I didn't know how to get the juice out of her, so I sucked it out with a syringe.

I put the same cotton ball wick rolled in torched mesh as a vertical coil in the iATTY and she tastes like metal really bad :/ I am not sure why one tastes like metal and one doesn't :/

The Fogger is vaping well, good taste and vapor... the only thing that irritates me is the noise I make sucking in air for a vape LOL SHE'S SO LOUD :p

Indeed i have ian,

What i did last night was decide to build it again from scratch, cos of the burning issues i thought i would make a higher ohm coil. so i made one which came out at 1.9 which i thought would be perfect. (wrong) hardly any vapour unless i had a 20 second draw lol, so i took a couple of wraps off and it now comes in at 1.5.

I put a new wick in earlier and it was fantastic for a short while, now it has started to burn again :( maybe it is the wrong sort of cotton, but having said that the first ever wick i put in (same cotton) it was brilliant.

This makes me think that

#1 No vapor means not enough heat
#2 The wire is too thick and takes longer to heat... once it's hot it burns the cotton.
#3 Perhaps the wire is defective and not gauged properly, like it's thicker in one part from a kink and has hot spots

Could the mod be an issue? Maybe a weaker mod? For instance, I don't use CE4s on higher wattage settings because they'll burn easily. I have some new Fasttech T4s that burn the heck out of EVERYTHING! https://www.fasttech.com/p/1395100 I've taken them apart, rewicked them, put them on really weak mech mods or eGos [!!!] and still they burn the wick immediately :/ I can't figure out the issue...

You know you have just give me an idea, I think they have sent me the wrong gauge wire that`s why i am now trying the ribbon. But i think what i will now try is a different mod, And/or the kick.

I just posted in another thread and they were asking me about the Fogger flooding as well :/ I am not sure what I am doing differently, but I just made a wick and took pics of what I do.

Yeah i will plod on with it mate, good night.

EDIT: well i think i got it sorted mate, I have done a 5 wrap of ribbon wire a slightly thinner wick and it is reading 1.5 ohm.

I think where i may be going wrong is the way i am vaping it (being greedy) and not giving it time to saturate again after having a good blast lol. I will see how i get on with it, and maybe it is just me not being used to using cotton.

If i have any more issues with the cotton, i will get some ekowool in there if it kills me.:D It is a tank with definate potential.

The other thing I forgot to mention Terry. When I vape the aga (with a cotton wick), I tilt it so that the juice goes higher up the wick. Similar to the tilt and swirl with a top feeding coil like a Nova or CE4. I don't really chain vape mine, so it could be the wick can't keep up. But having said that when I first tried cotton I did an experiment - a length of silica and a length of cotton hanging from a needle. I dipped them in juice, the silica took a couple of seconds before the juice travelled up the wick, but the cotton was wet almost as soon as it touched the liquid. Not much help I know :p

I've been doing some research on the fogger too Lisa. It seems to be a very finicky set-up. Some people suggest thicker wicks, others suggest flavour wicks, some use the o-ring above the wick, others take it out completely.

I am going to take the base apart though, because some people have had shorting issues and airflow problems. The bugger won't beat me though. Thursday, my day off, is gonna be fogger and rocket day

No any advice is usefull Ian and i apppreciate it mate.

Well what a bad vape night i have been having, first my rocket packed up and wouldn`t fire on anything. so i stripped it down and the positive block had come completely off the deck:p Then i saw that it is the 510 centre pin which actually holds this in place.
So i got a new wick in (eventually lol) using 5 wraps the 30 gauge wire and 2 lengths of 2 mm silica it reads 1 ohm. and i have too say it is wicked, so i don`t think there is an issue with the wire.

Problem number 2 : my chi you wont fire up anything i have  so i will have a look at that later, and number 3 : i have re-built the I atty using 5 wraps of ribbon and cotton, this was after forcing some 3 mm ekowool in and wrapping a coil. around a needle forced down the centre of the wick, this just wouldn`t wick as the hole was completely blocked. anyway the ribbon coil and cotton seem to be fine (no burning) but i think 1.8 is a bit too high, so next time i will try a couple less wraps.

Fingers crossed at least i have got the rocket running like a monster no lies there, so that has been most of my evening. just need to sort the chi out now.

Just missed you mate, good night.

I got the chi running again and i have done some jigging about. i have put my kick in the nemmy with the i atty on top, i have got the kick set at around 8 watts and put another wick in. (lets see)

Congrats Ref =] I haven't gotten the Kayfun... I couldn't decide which one to get at the start and now I think I have so many toppers and MORE coming in from FastTech that I can easily catch one from the classies later =]

My Fogger https://www.fasttech.com/p/1511800 stopped firing on the FastTech Bolt...l not sure why, I changed the battery and still it wouldn't fire up. Put it on my MVP and it read 0.8oHm but it's been firing with no issues. I may have to recoil it regardless because the minimum 6watts is not helping my juice any, seems to be 100% nicotine :p

The Oddy https://www.fasttech.com/p/1442708 is still going strong, but I can't settle on a juice for it :/ I am basically using it as a dripper on my MVP2. I've got a 555 tobacco in it now and it's just too 'nutty' flavored for me :/ I think I'll put a RY4

I have a love/hate relationship with my RSST https://www.fasttech.com/products/10005349/ :/ Sometimes it's got a magnificent vape and at others it's like vaping a breathe instead of a juice :/ I mistakenly 'thought' that I'd ordered RSST glass tanks for my RSST, but now I've noticed they are for the iATTY https://www.fasttech.com/p/1532000 :/

I haven't touched the Pulse-G https://www.fasttech.com/p/1522900 or the Bliss Genesis https://www.fasttech.com/p/1518400 yet. I am looking at the CE4s and mini Protanks on my eGos and EVODs and thinking about cleaning them up and just taking 1 mini Protank to stealth vape at work.

I am a bit intimidated by the Pulse-G and refilling some of these toppers is NOT as easy as dumping and refilling a CE4, so I still have a few new toppers to figure out and some decisions to make about my rotating gear =]

OMG!!! I just bought a few items from a friend I see around - I hit his classie ad and got a Sigelei #2 mech and a Valley View Vapes pyrex tank with black and silver caps =] He just PMd and he gave me a free RH KILLER CLONE :p

I hunted the magnificent Google for 'Rainbow Heaven Killer Clone' and do you know what it is???? It's a rebuildable CARTO! I have been waiting for a carto that I could rebuild so I never had to buy Boge cartos again!!! Whoooooooo! Many have problems with it and the ceramic cup, but I just watched the video and saw where the wire legs need to be! I'll work on it over the holidays until I get it right =] Whooooooooo!

How exciting is that?!?!?!

ok this is my first time ordering from fast tech, and my scheduled ship date is 12/13 however just checked my order and all 3 items in my order are marked ready to ship? can anyone give me an idea since its the 9th will they wait until the 13th to ship them? or should they ship soon?

Hi jerry,

It`s difficult to say really. Your order may indeed ship before the 13th, or they may wait untill the 13th. Sorry i know that doesn`t help you, but only fasttech really know the answer to your question.

Well my fogger arrived today, i test fired it and it seems fine. Ian i see what you mean about the raised collar, and i am guessing it will be a pita getting a new coil in there. It is reading 1.3 ohms from the box, so i think i will give it a good cleaning and try it as it is

My i atty now seems fine with the kick, but i do need to keep it lied down to help with wicking which is a bit inconvinient. :p

Well I've been a busy bunny tonight.

Got home and my spiritus order has arrived. Really impressed with the shipping, I know it's pricey stuff but I'm looking forward to vaping it and comparing the Custard's Last Stand to my Grant's Vanilla Custard. Plus the Gravity juice is green, GREEN I tell you - never had green liquid before, I'm gonna vape it in a clear tank

Anyway, decided to have a play with the Fogger. Managed to take the base apart (with mole grips), did a fix on the airflow section and also sorted out the positive pin so it won't short out. What a pain to do though, took me over an hour to put it all back together again. Then I decided to make my best ever micro-coil. Used a thick paperclip, just over 1mm in diameter, haven't got a clue how many wraps, probably about 15  cosit came out at 2.6 ohms - took me ages to do it, so I wasn't gonna throw it away. Managed to get some cotton through it, doubled it over at the juice slots and put some extra cotton inside the deck to stop any flooding. Put it on the Vamo at 7 watts, filled up with DIY banana cream 24mg and started vaping.

OH MY GOD. So far this thing is amazing. It's the best coil build I've ever done. At the moment it's as good as the KFL or the Taifun, I will use a lower nic juice next time though. So if it doesn't flood or short out, I'll be over the moon. Quite pleased with myself at the moment, after spending the best part of 3 hours setting it up :rickroll:

Terry glad you sorted out the issues from yesterday mate.

Lisa, just be careful of shorting with the Fogger, don't extend the bottom positive pin out too far, it can cause real problems with some of the Foggers.

Daz, the Aios looks great mate, nice buy there.

Jerri, if all the items are ready to ship, you should soon get a photo of your parcel ready to leave FT. Then the long wait with Singapore Post begins.

Cody, where are you ??? :p
